Friday after work...
Always love the dating feeling... finding back the romance. Suggested to bf to accompany me after work to catch a movie or smth. But I know that when he says he didn't want to go out, means he doesn't. So didn't pin much hope cos we already met during lunchtime which I do cherish, smth positive about his work rotation hours.
Was thinking of going to hunting for gifts for our anniversary which is round the corner after work, when I received a call from bf that he was able to meet me after work. He said he has checked out the movie
timing and decided to go with me but asked me to go home 1st and he would come by my place to pick me up.
Thought it was still early when I left my ofc at 8 plus. So decided to have dinner with Xiao Di at Vivo. Who knows bf called me at 9.30pm to tell me he was at my place. Bad timing... thought it would be gd for him to come straight to Vivo to find me if that's e case but he refused. So I went to wait for e bus which finally arrived and when I was on e bus, guessed what? Bf called and told me he reached Vivo and wanna surprise me. -.-''' I dunno but I felt more disappointed than him.
When I finally reached my place and got settled down, he came. I didn't exactly know what show we are watching except that it's gonna be at Great World City, which we have to reach by 11.30pm.
Reached there, then know that the show will only start at 12am. Made me kanchiong for nothing. Then I realised that we were going to watch Angels and Demons by the same author of Da Vinci Code, which I thought was not that interesting cos I didn't read this book unlike the other one.
When the show started after all e commercials were over, I barely watched for 20mins and the sleepy spell came in. This happens a few times when I watched midnight movies with him. Friday, being the most tiring day of the week, I was totally unable to focus on the screen.
The show is more or less like Da Vinci Code, where the story started off with the late Pope followed by the murder scene and Robert Langdon, an expert on Illuminati, was being called in to assist in uncovering the mystery using symbology.
The plot itself is interesting, just that I really need concentration to be able to understand the show fully. The show ended at 2.30am and I was so ready to go back and hug my bolster and kiss my pillow. I wanna re-watch the show if I have e chance.
