lol... I think my "poison" level is getting very high with the upcoming course. now i wanna briefly talk abt 2 different customer service that I received in a day.
Went to collect my photos that I further developed in the making of my LOVE scrapbook. I was in a rush of time so I went there 10 mins earlier than the collection timing. The person gladly served me and informed me that 2 of my photos cannot be developed due to the large resolution. Even after she tried many times to reduce the size, it was to no avail. She even showed me the photos on the computer screen when I can't recall which 2 pics she was referring to. Above were just the basics that a service provider should do. Then what she did was to refund me the money for undeveloped pics which I thought was a nice gesture. I was charged 30 cents if I develop at least 20 pics, otherwise I would be charged 40 cents each. I have already benefitted as I only developed 18 pics, I have saved $1.80 and now I can even get 60 cents back.
Met up with Jas after that and went to collect our T-shirts for the May Solidatary Walk and Concert event. We decided to have dinner at a nearby restaurant. Didn't quite like the service there. The waitress didn't repeat our order but only asked whether do we want to have our dessert served during or after our main course. Well, better than never ask. What if they get our order wrongly? We would sure complain I'm sure. Food was not that great. Menu didn't indicate properly if the dish is a spicy one and how spicy it is, with the no. of chili rating. So Jas got a bowl of spicy Zha Jiang noodle that she didn't quite like. They only served ice water for those who never order any drinks. If they can serve ice water without any charges, then shdn't they apply this to everybody who dines in the restaurant? The drink that Jas ordered, Red bean milk tea, wasn't at all fantastic. Doesn't taste like milk tea at all but some melted ice kachang to me. The dumpling which we thought would be a bonus didn't turn out quite well either. The skin of the dumplings was too sticky that I thought we would have a hard time digesting it. 15 mins before they were closing, they cleared the soya sauces, vinegar bottles from the side of our table and said smth like "If you want the sauce, you can let us know." We can't even hear clearly what she said but agar made up the words she said. She could have asked if we want FIRST before keeping them away, isn't it? Consider the fact that I'm not an all-time fussy customer, I think their service isn't that gd. Not sure if I should put up the name of the restaurant but maybe I should, since there's always websites on food reviews. Yups, it's The Asian Kitchen (at Republic Plaza).
If you experience gd service, normally we would only tell a few pple. But if we experience bad service, we would tend to tell more pple. That's only human. Yeah.
