It definitely sounds COOL to be participating in a flash mob which is something new for me (and many others) and it's Singapore's 1st bloggers' Flash Mob as well.
A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse - Definition from Wikipedia.
The purpose of the flash mob is to surprise the public and see their funny reactions. These are what we need to do:
Step 1
Register as a follower under your favourite blogger!!!
Step 2
Get your Pyjamas and MP3 players ready!!!
Step 3
The day of the event!
Come down with your Pyjamas underneath your disguise!
There's so many kinds of pajamas aka PJs out there in the market and here are some examples from http://www.pajamagram.com:
Looks like we were really keen about the event. Jas and I even went out earlier to shop at "Cotton on Body" for our PJs. So what exactly did Jas and I bought and wore for e event?
Tadah! 2 sleeping dresses, that looks kinda sexy. Hers has the wild leopard print and mine is obvious, a pink one with comfy satin material, that cost us like only $10! Jas even got a bootie that at e same price too! Who can resist that temptation! It's a gd time to shop for all these during GSS period.
We put on our jackets and made our way to the gathering point at the field next to Singapore Visitor Centre.

Look at Pumpkin's reaction when meeting face-to-face with 2 big dogs. Dun seem afraid at all.
There's also other celebrity bloggers invited for this event, Thy Dowager, Underage Girl and Ice Angel. If u follow their blogs, u would know whom I'm talking about.
Soon, we were placed into different groups and we were in group 1! Followers of Wendy aka Xiaxue, with Elaine as our group IC. Here's a group pic of us with Xiaxue =)))
In our own groups, we gotta interact with other bloggers who came for the event. Our IC briefed us on what we were supposed to do.
There would be cue for us to look out for:
1st Green Board will be flashed: Pillow fights by performers.
2nd Green Board: Strip down to our PJS and "Silent Dance" to our MP3 music for 2 mins.
Red Board: Cue to stop (Pretend to be normal pple on the street and go back the gathering point)
After e final briefing by Mr Ming, we were led to our individual group "hiding place" just behind Heeren. Waiting for what's going to be happening in a few mins time.
The long-awaited Flash Mob was about to start.

There was a rather big crowd formed when we walked to the other Exit of Heeren outside Old Chiang Kee. We can't even see e cue of the Green Board when e pillow fight started. Then suddenly, I just heard our IC saying: "Dance, u guys are supposed to be dancing now." *hur.. that means there was another Green Board being put up, and apparently, we didn't see any. We didn't really stripped to our pjs but just continued to dance while pple were too focus with the pillow fight and celebrity bloggers out there.
Ooo.. I dun even get to see any pics of us dancing during the Flash Mob. A little disappointing I would say, pple seems to be expecting something going on and it's no longer like e Flash Mob that would surprise anybody. 2 mins were up and we were back to the gathering point.
But overall, I think that it's still a gd event given that it's e 1st bloggers' Flash Mob. So glad that there's new friendships were forged and we got to meet fun-loving pple esp. the very amiable sisters, Isabel and Alissa, who are Singaporean, born in US.

On our way to the Singapore River Festival. There's going to be exclusive celebrity bloggers' tour happening on this coming Friday, 19 June 09! Cruise down the River Ducktours and exclusive Pajamas Party at the Arena sounds absolutely cool!
I'm so looking fwd to the upcoming event.
