This time round was rather special cos Jean was around with us. I have lotsa fun with them. Eating non-stop at IMM's Cafe Cartel which was lunch for Jean and me cos the rest had eaten already. But everybody was still keen enthu to order and order.
We ordered Grilled Chicken and Linguine for Sis, Turkey and Bacon sandwiches, Eastside Brownie stack (super nice brownie - MUST TRY), blueberry cheesecake, Viking and the Rock (ice cream, servings for 4) to share. Ordered prawn salad for Sis, healthy for her and her bb. We also took the free flow toasted bread and spread it with lotsa butter and I think we just kept eating and eating. Haha.. they commented that it's the 1st time that they think I really eat this much... Shd have more of such sinfullicious sessions with the gals so that my weight-increasing plan can go well hur? xP
That's a happy us after our very full meal.
Rather bloated for dinner but we still went to the nearby coffee shop at Jurong East to have zi cha. Expected something nice (took pic of it somemore!) but the food were not appetizing at all.
Such meetup session is great, so we get to update each other of what's going on in our lives. Everybody has a story to tell, isn't it? For Jean, I think that it's gd that we finally meet up like this, rather than bumping into her at bus stops only.
On a side note, really think that it's not easy to have a baby, baby stuffs are getting so exp, or is it that case all along? We were at IMM and I saw the baby cot cost like at 700 bucks? No wonder when there's sales for newly moms and kids at EXPO exhibition halls, etc, pple are swarming over there like crazy. There are just too many things to buy for babies! All the essentials stuffs that is. I wonder how some pple can survive with more than 2 kids. Really... not easy!!
