Attended the Holy Grail Party event organised by CozyCot which features the latest in beauty, makeup, skincare and fashion! It's my 1st time attending CozyCot's event. Pretty excited!
There's many participating merchandisers which includes Shu Uemura, Loreal, Kose, SK II. There's many booths selling facial and cosmetic products like ZA prdts, O2 prdts. Not only that, there's booths selling food products like Soyjoy. There's also financial talks, bridal wedding booth and there's even diploma courses as a wedding planner or in the professional nail industry.
What really attracts me is facial package from Babelicious. Signed up for the trial session with Jean. Think it's time to switch over to something within our budget! Spent $76 initially and topped up with e masks which I shared with Jean and paid $88.80 in total at this booth. Each of us has gotten a travel size Sothy's morning cleanser and hydra matte fluid that comes with a bright orange pouch.
Bought L'OREAL's Derma Genesis Pore Minimising Smoother which acts like a mosturiser and also L'OREAL's Elixir Concentrate Ultra Make-up Remover for waterproof and long-wear make up. It's much cheaper than market price and for the pore minimiser, we can only get this these 2 days at only $29.90 and this new product will only be officially sold outside in November. Happy to get it "first hand". Spent above $40 and freebies again! Love the pink makeup bag, a limited edition mirror set, a lip gloss! =)
Applied for a lifetime Watsons membership at only $5. Can get a chance to play the sure-win spin wheel. Hahaha.. so lucky to spin to the green tab and I won myself a Nivea's slimming & reshaping gel-cream which is worth $45. Didn't give my fren cos i know i have tummy and fatty thighs that I can apply too. Haha.. Together with the membership, there's a deck of vouchers to be used at Watsons too. Very worth it =)
There's lots of offers and many gd deals to grab. Upon entrance, we were given a goodie bag each. What's more! If u spend $20, u get a chance for the lucky draw. If u spend $100 or more, u can get a Cozycot goodie bag. If u spend $200 on citibank card, u can get a Citibank goodie bag!
Jean and I had gotten e Cozycot goodie bag each. So full of freebies like shower gel, Stage's nail polish, Dove's conditioner, Dove's hair mask, etc etc! We were amazed by the no. of items and it's getting heavier as we walked ard with it.
After which, we went to attend e talk on e diploma of wedding planner. It's kinda exp for e course like 9k but with bursary etc, it will come up to 4k+ if i'm not wrong. For those who finds that taking up a diploma is expensive, they have also offer a course for wedding planning which will be given by e speaker himself. If we sign up today, e course will be $500 (UP $750). Hmmm... after all, it's really where ur interest lies.
Another thing that got me interested in was the dance classes offered by Studio Wu! The lady was demonstrating some of the steps of the Girls' hip hop, very nice shake and I totally love it. The timing for the beginner's classes for the Girl's hiphop is 6.30 pm on a weekday. Not sure if I can make it in time after work. I dunno if i'm able to keep up with the fast beat but I'm kinda excited to join. Received e complimentary voucher so I can try it out. Kinda waiting for Jean and Jas to nod their head to go with me for e trial session. Was happy to get freebies from e booth too! The shiny silvery pouch and dinner bag!

Towards the end of the event, there was a Makeup Show by Shu Uemura and announcement of The Beauty Art Competition 2009 - Novice Winner. Presented by Sophia Chia (Elite Makeup Artist), with Kim as the face model and the professional makeup artist which is professionally trained in Japan. Teaching us very useful make up tips through live demonstration on stage. We were taught to apply the eye makeup first, before drawing our eyebrow. In this way, the eyebrow makeup will not be smudged. We were also taught on how to apply mascara and the way to hold the mascara to apply on the upper and lower eyelid. This event attracted many people and all the seats were filled up with those who registered earlier on.
Jean won e hourly lucky draw towards the end of the event. So lucky. Amazed that we could stay there for more than 3hrs and we left EXPO at 6pm where e event was ending too.
Suggested to have dinner @ Changi Airport. Great that they agreed cos I dun feel like gg to Pasir Ris or Tampines at all. LOL. Changi Airport T3's atmosphere is so much better. We decided to have dinner at Earle Swensen. An expensive dining place indeed. We chose to order the cheaper main course and each of us were entitled for the freeflow serving at the salad bar. We ended up so full having eating 80% of the food and had to cancel our ice-cream order made earlier on. Left for home with bloated stomachs.
Fruitful day~ thanks all =)
