After e Pink Ribbon Walk event in the morning, Keith and I continued with our 2nd event of the day - wedding lunch reception of our dear colleague, Eva. It's the 1st time we are attending a lunch wedding instead of a wedding dinner.
It's from 12pm to abt 4pm which includes the cocktail before the 1st march in followed by the solemnisation, playing on the montage on the screen, cutting of wedding cake, etc etc which is all similar to the usual wedding dinner we go to.
The photographer that my cousin is going to engage is also helping Eva out with the photo taking for her big day today. Wah... 1st time seeing him in action. Very pro! The camera was so much bigger than Keith's and he seems like those news interviewers who capture pictures at the right angle, right moment. Now having seen his work, I can gladly assure my cousin that the photos will turn out great that day. Hehe =P
Alot of our guy colleagues went in checkered (black and white) long sleeve shirts. Wad a coincidence. They never wear like this on Fri when they can wear more casually to work. As for Janise, Margaret and I, our top/dresses are also of the same material. LOL. great minds think alike?
Totally lose my image when BL sat down and told us 2 things. One of that one of our colleagues appeared on the newpaper some yrs back for owning many jerseys which was quite a surprise to me and some of us too. Dunno what Janise added on, I really laughed like mad. Was trying to control damn badly but can't. Then he said he himself nvr appear in newspaper but on TV, Gao Xiao Xing Dong.. and he asking if we rem last time very long ago, there's a part... where he would sing "gao xiao xing dong.. hei O hei O..." and he said he was doing that part on tv. Faints. I laughed even more. I seemed to rem this character vaguely but not really sure.
Happy to see many of my colleagues here. It's more like our HRG gathering! =) Enjoyed ourselves.. But a pity was that when we went out to the gent and ladies for a short while, they went ahead to take grp pic without us. Booohooo... when we wanted to take, it's too late cos a few of them left early for other events. but it's okay, with Keith and Nelson's cameras around, I knew we took alot of pics already!
In fact, there's many activities today but I didn't go. There's a NCC water baptism event and Yoga-by-the-sea event going on at East Coast Park as well. In fact, Jee asked me to join her with the mid-autumn festival celebration organised by the Queenstown Reach-out but I turned her down knowing I would be too tired to join. Keith was gd man! He could tahan until 5 plus and continued with his mid-autumn fest celebration with his other frens till night time! Pei fu! =P
Anyway, here's a BIG congratulations to the newly-wed! Eva is so pretty today, love her gowns and her makeup, soooo nice =)
P/S Learnt 2 new phrases at work recently. It shows how gd our English standard lies. Go figure out the meaning if u are unsure and u will learn something like us too. =P Can be use for normal conversation but not in formal context.
