life is like a cycle.. it's abt saving up and spending.. saving up and spending... shopping addiction will kick in and it's also abt time for short getaways and yearly holiday trip to different places (if possible). i dunno if our co. will bring us anywhere this round but i doubt so cos it's already into e mid of August but there's still no news. but this yr, it's gd enough that I managed to go to Bangkok, Muar (after getting my new passport) and Batam. i would very much love to visit western ctries BUT still no chance yet! hope i can find some 志同道合 folks to go with one of these days.

It's already August. Unbelievable fast! On the 12th this mth, it would be a year. as compared to last yr, this yr will definitely be a much better one. i choose to be happy!

On the 20th, it will be Ting's 1st bday and yes, today is her lunar bday~ Happy bday yeah!

Time past really fast this yr. it could be partly due to the change of jobscope. one moment i thought it was a great challenge to be an ATL followed by change of team, with much more learning curves. initial stage was tough. everything was easier said than done. I was so busy with work for e mth of June. Everyday was almost ot-ing. Things got much better in July. I even got a short break to Batam with bestie, Jean. I thought that it really helps to fight away the blues esp. when our getaway was on Mon & Tues. As for this wkend, it's a nice long wkend too bcos National day falls on Mon and I also took leave on Thurs n Fri~ whoo.. i just need to work for 2 days~ How can I not be glad?!

What I've invested will not go to waste if I use this as a learning lesson. The weariness has long faded. I shall not be reminded of those pain. Well, whatever has happened has happened. We are all human beings who will go through ups n downs. If I choose to hold on to this and not move on, it'll be silly. Life's short. We are not here to dwell with just one single person who doesn't have the right to do anything to our life.

now there's flights to Seoul from KL via Air Asia. maybe as time goes by, other budget airlines will open up in Korea too. if it's direct from SIN to SEL, that would be even better!

my status as 'boiling' is actually 'boiling mad'. if that's anything unsure, just clarify. if u think u can contribute, just voice up. anyway, it's the character of the person that i'm driving at. it's nothing really to do with the event. i just want an understanding, there's no other qns raised, so how can someone just accuse us saying that we are not clear of what we do? in fact, i dun even see e need of reporting everything to just one person. only ppl from a 3rd party angle will see a clearer picture. if u think u can compromise with that person, then by all means work with the person, if not, i dun really think that we need to force ourselves right?

Was thinking of going to Marine Parade for the NDP roadshow hoping to stand a chance to win the Fun Tote bag or walk away with NDP tickets and go cycling since it's so nearby. One stone kill 2 birds cos we dun normally go there when it's so far from our homes. But since we didn't win anything in the hourly lucky draws, we thought of joining the Marine Parade residents in watching the mini-NDP celebration at the carpark at Marina Terrace but who knows tickets were required as well.

Bcos of the wet weather and we couldn't watch the "mini-NDP", we decided to go ahead with cycling despite drizzling after having early dinner at 5pm. By then, it was already 5.30pm. Cycled for just 1hr and 15mins but bcos of the wind blowing against us in the opposite direction, we had to double our efforts in riding the bicycle. GOOD EXERCISE! It's also not a good time to go cycling this mth bcos of the YOG event where the usual cycling track near Bedok Jetty is closed temporary.

Finally gotta drink the milk tea from KOI bubble tea shop. Sugar level 70%. Interesting fact is that they allow us to choose the sugar level - 100%, 70%, 50%, etc.. Healthier choice. The shop really reminds me of Taiwan and the milk tea taste similar from the ones I drank there too!

Cos of the rain, we literally walked the entire mall at Marine Parade and racky the neighbourhood to get some wholesale stuffs for Ting's big one's bbq. The bday banner, balloons and serviettes are so reasonably priced.

We stayed until 9pm thinking that we might stand a chance to find the lucky draw finals for the ndp tix/fun totes bags but we really got no luck! Next wk's roadshow will be at IMM but I doubt I'll go cos there will sure be more crowd and e chance of winning will be slimmer.

Urgh... cycling under e drizzle causes fever n headache. I'm gonna slp now. gdnite world!

P/S i'm happy for my dear bestie =)

Thanks to Marg for the 2 complimentary "Cleanse and Finish" kimrobinson @ Ngee Ann City vouchers worth $58, which she has gotten from Lee Hwa Jewellery.

The voucher expires on 1 Aug and she gave us only on Thurs so we like this weekend to go. Then I called up to make appt for both JC and I to find out that it was the hairstylist's last day today (31 Jul). The definition of "cleanse and finish" is actually wash and blow dry. So we tot it's nothing much and even had 2nd thoughts of going cos if we go all the way to Taka just to wash and blow, isn't it abit waste of time. but then again, I suggested to go since it's FOC anyway and we can even have lunch there after.

Good decision made! Notice the following high class services that normal salons dun normally provide:

1) Staff were professionally dressed: formal white long-sleeve shirts for guys and hairstylist in jackets, ladies in black long-sleeve shirts

2) Complimentary drinks to choose from, we ordered honey water with lemon slice that was served in a glass with transparent cover for hygiene purpose

3) Were asked to wear a black robe instead of those normal salon which only covers your clothes with a cloth. Somehow I feel that it's more personalised like some hotel room services

4) There were individual private rooms for haircut, hairstyling etc meant for VIPS or even actresses/actors who wanted more privacy for themselves

5) During the hair wash session, the staff would ask if we prefer cold/warm water and if the pressure he applies for the hairwash is ok for us. It's as though we were in a business class flight served by sauve-looking air steward. One more thing was that the head n neck massage was really gd!

6) Randy Ong styled my hair to create a more-volume effect which curls in at the bottom and he helped to trim my messy fringe as well. I was happy with the results cos I knew that I was in good hands from the way he blowed and styled my hair!

Towards the end of the session, we were given more welcome vouchers valid for 3 mths or 4 mths but no signing up of packages were offered. Cool. If we want to do pedicure, we can even get complimentary manicure. Pretty tempting! :P

it's 2.34am and i'm still not aslp. I'm super sleepy by now but happy cos it's LONG weekend for me. no work on mon n tues to ease away e blues.

Yest was rather well-spent with my new colleague. an impromptu hangout after work. in fact, i would have went back much earlier if i didn't specially stay back to clear 95% of my work cos of my leave next wk. i tot of gg to city hall and we took e same train to Dhoby Ghaut and i casually asked her if she would like to join me for shopping and she agreed. We decided to go Plaza Sing instead cos we knew that Raffles City won't promise us much that i will be able to get a bday gift there. But if i were go alone, i would probably skip PS since i went there few days ago. This gal is really great! She helped me to choose a nice bday gift, shares common interest with me which is travelling (aww! she went to Vietnam and Korea b4. i tot of going as well!! probably next time we can even plan for some holiday trips to places we nvr go b4), accompanied me for dinner even though she was nt hungry. She even lent me 30 bucks (which was much more than enough) to cab home. That's bcos we chatted until 12am at e prata shop near PS (we nvr know that we can click so well ^^) and e last train towards Marina Bay already left. but lucky me, managed to catch a bus back eventually w/o cabbing home. *save $$*

Long time nvr have outing with my ex-teammates (miss those days!), looking fwd to this coming Wed. it's gonna be a nice dinner shd i be able to go. the thought of e durian desserts are enough to make me drool! REALLY pray hard that i can clear finish my stuffs.

My back is aching (sounds so old but what to do?!! haha). i have been thinking of going for a back massage for weeks and i'm enduring bcos I know that I'll be in for a treat to some gd massage on Monday. yes, it better be gd or else i'm going to (lemmi think abt it... nah, just kidding!).

Today is a nice day as well! I love my frens cos they really help me alot. Great achievement today. in fact, it's nice to see them enjoying themselves doing this as much as me.

Godfinger till now is still quite addictive. i wonder when will i hit level 50 (highest level), even lvl 20 is still long ahead. Who is going to enchant me, how long more do i hv to wait for e golds for those i've enchanted and how to earn awes to get more golds? Still, it's quite a nice game played via iPhone.

Haven't pack my bag for Mon's short getaway and i'm already looking fwd to next Sat's zouknight! whoohoo! :P

it's really nice spending time with Sis! It's indescribably good when u are with dearies who u truly enjoy being with. she was already in Vivo and walking ard while i was still struggling with e last bkg of e day. We eventually met at Best Denki, coming from 2 opposite directions w/o letting her wait for too long.

I remembered how JC described her 2nd trimester where her stomach stretched until she felt that it's going to explode anytime. This was how I felt after having our very full dinner & my tummy became so obvious after sharing 4 scoops of Haagen Dazs ice cream! Actually, we only ordered Mango and Passion Fruit, Macadamia Nut and Rum Raisin ice cream. But somehow e waitress heard our order wrongly and we didn't know that it was wrong when she repeated our order. Sis' fave Macadamia Nut flavor was replaced by Midnight Cookies and Cream. We even started eating to realise that it wasn't there. We got e waitress to clarify and Sis gave quite a disappointed look when we learnt that the order was already wrongly taken in e 1st place. Somehow the surprise came later after we ate halfway. The waitress came with 1 scoop of macadamia nut ice cream and said she dun want this to spoil our evening. She's so nice and we even felt a lil guilty for acting rude or maybe we just kept complaining away when she's gone. LOL. When we were abt to finish eating and asked for bill, we gotta see e fireworks at the opposite aka Resorts World! What a GOOD timing! :)

Sis said it's a lil wasted that we dun have a camera. i guess it's ok. nowadays i dun like to take video or pics as much. ya, i know that e moment cannot be captured as memories if we dun take them down. but i really prefer to watch it LIVE and enjoy that particular moment, rather than taking e video and having to look into e small screen with tiring arms each time. i rather somebody else take over e job. haha.. there's a change in me somehow. i dun like to take pics of foodie as much as b4. i dun like to share my album with others. even my harddisk died and alot of pics were gone w/o any backups, i seem to be ok too w/o really feeling that xin tong. somehow i dun mind starting afresh by taking new pics.

thinking that it's Sat tmro, i suddenly dun feel as slpy le. now is already 12.51am and i'm still here.

Sis, hope Ting ting can recover from her fever soon so that u can have better slps. Being parents are nvr easy esp. when ur kids fall sick, now we know why, but i guess i will nvr fully understand until i experience it.

Not a smooth day.

1stly, e submission keep rejecting. why don't pple think it's their fault at all when they nvr produce e necessary doc and keep saying that it's e same as last time. if everything in this world is e same, then how gd would it be? i also wish that there will be no changes to rules, policies, requirements, etc etc. but this is how things work, we gotta adapt to the environment and not e other way round right?

2nd thing seems like both parties' fault. i didn't know that we gt past data to refer to and went on to bk e wrong thing given by them based on their email and they didn't find out until last min. pray tt things would get resolved soon. Amen!

how i wish im just a 3d living toy in this world, one who is being loved by her owner~ life would be much simpler!

weekend is nearing. this weekend is packed wz lunch, meetup wz Jee and sun midnight is e worldcup finals!!! can i wake up to watch and still be ready for work on Mon? in fact, i tot i wanna watch Spain vs Germany yest night but i didnt manage to wake up at all.. lol. managed to catch how Spain won the match thru e video below. Nice 铁头功 shot! Sunday I guess Spain will WIN! Haha.. hope my prediction will be accurate this round!

Great to see plans materialising! 19-20 Jul (almost completed e booking!)

Went thru e thinking process and Jean even called up 2 agencies to check out e package tours but they required group booking of at least 10 pple in order for us to BOOK a 2D1N trip to Desaru and other farms, etc. Does it mean that we have to HUNT for pple in order to go? SO in e end, i thot it's best to stick to batam. Budget wise not bad, itinerary swee swee N most imptly it's relaxing time!

JC came my hse for e 1st time just now to collect the 7 dwarfs soft toys. it's bought by my cousin abt 5 yrs back. it's as gd as new & i dun even believe that it's bought so long ago. JC told me that she loves mickey mouse and I vaguely remembered that she did mention abt 7 dwarfs too. When Marg learnt that I'm giving e soft toys to JC, she exclaimed her excitement by saying she LOVES them too. HAHA.. suddenly it becomes so popular but too bad, i didn't know until today.

Ting's bday is comingggg.. im eggcited! aren't u?? heh!

to get something FOC, it only means having to sacrifice something else. there's no free lunch in this world, believe me. it's frustrating having to compromise with different pple etc but we must all know wad we want ultimately. the main purpose of doing all these, is it worth it? if yes, then go ahead.

if u ask me, the solution is simple. heard of the saying 能够用钱解决的问题就不是问题. but if this is smth that even $ cannot solve, then we got no choice but to compromise right?

I'm happy! Yest I gotta watch WORLDCUP LIVE at Chijmes! After so many rounds of worldcup, this is e official one that i finally watched! It was a match of Argentina vs Germany at 10pm. Even though we were slightly late with no place to sit down and we got slightly blocked by a tree in e middle of nowhere, we didn't miss out the 1st goal from Germany.

It's really different to be watching it LIVE than hearing news or updates from pple saying how good or lousy those players were. Germany was so gd in terms of team spirit esp. at the goal area. When Argentina's goalkeeper managed to defend a player, the other Germany player would just smoothly kick in the ball right into the goal from another side.

1st half of the game was a score of 0 vs 1. During the short break, Jean and I thought we should find a gd place to really sit down and watch instead of standing around breathing in 2nd hand smoke, feeling thirsty, perspiring like crazy and legs aching after a long day. But Chijmes was damn crowded! Jean quickly ordered a 100plus to quench her thirst before we we went to the basement to check out for seats. We went to the bar next to Harry's and decided to order some drinks at Bobby's.

Who knows the bar tenders didn't have time to entertain us at all!! After waiting for like 15mins, we decided to go to the front and sit on the floor to watch instead. The tv screen is much smaller now as compared to the big screen (1st pic above) outside but we were more comfortable in the air-conditioned place and e sound is so much clearer. Machiam sitting in a living room at home with many Germany fans around us.

Towards the end of the game, the result was 0 vs 4! This match was really exciting and I got Jean excited too cos she's not really into worldcup and stuffs. Upon the 3rd goal, we knew that Germany would definitely make it to the semi-finals cos of the timings and Argentina wasn't performing!! :( Argentina's fan must be damn sad and guess what... that fella told me he just lose sgd2k over this. -.-'''

Sakae Sushi & Movie: Toy Story 3

Sis, Jean and I went to Marina Square and was in time for dinner. Grace said she has cravings for sushi even though she already had that few days ago.. haha.. we both dun mind cos i loveee sushi too! And i think we must be crazy to be ordering so much. hahaha! 1 set meal, 1 udon each for both of them, with 10 plates of sushi (inclusive of 1 coloured plate)! $80 dinner, luckily got disc for credit card pymt. so each pax is $24! :) dinner at 6pm, movie is at 6.50pm but we were late and missed out a little cos GV is known for long commercials b4 movie starts~ :P And very happy thing was that Jean loves e pair of earrings and necklace that we chose much earlier for her for her belated bday pressie!

Nowadays, I find these Disney movies that are made into 3d effects are really interesting! it's not like those normal cartoons but this comes with storylines that is so captivating! We catch the one without 3D effects and it's equally nice!

Can u imagine the toys at home coming alive when e toys seems to come alive in their own world??!

Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie are some of my fave characters after watching this show. Without watching these part 1 & 2 of the story, we were still very into the show as it seems to be a separate adventure on it's own.

Woody being the main character of the show, who was trying to explain to his frens that Andy (their owner) was not going to dump them after going to college. Who knows the rest of them dun believe his story and decided to go to the Sunnyside daycare, where they met Lots-O'-Huggin'-Bear aka Lotso who gave them so much trouble and it's nice to see how Woody helped them out from all these, gaining back their trust and they stayed together as one, no matter what happens.

It's interesting to see Ken and Barbie in the dream house, with those hundreds of clothings in their wardrobe!! hahaha.... I love the way Bonnie plays with her toys. these kids must be creative huh! talking to themselves while playing with those toys~ wonder if Hui ting will do that when she grows older :PPP

i want to catch worldcup finals on chn 5 since it's showing at 2.30am! haiz haiz.. next day is a working day but why??!

Shopped from 2.30-8.45pm, mom and i had walked from OG (orchard) to Robinsons @ Centrepoint to Taka to Isetan @Wisma to CK Tangs to Isetan @Scotts and finally settled my one single receipt of $147++ worth of shopping which I'm going to claim soon. It's super tiring when u dun get to sit down except when trying on shoes and I've been looking for seats. It's amazing why my mom nvr complain tired but I already shopped until my legs nearly couldn't carry me. LOL.

I managed to sell off e book, Skin Deep, to the US market via eBay, which I only put it up on our SG market. My asking price was SGD3.00 and he messaged me for e details. Nobody bidded so naturally he won e bid. After including e postage fees, I still manage to earn about SGD11.00, upon converting his USD18 via paypal. Not bad! He's so generous cos he don't mind paying more and even commented that her wife is looking forward to receiving the book. I'm happy bcos I got some cash in my paypal.

My shopping spree kick is here and I've gotten my new pair of shoes and dress which will be sent for free altering and be collected in a week's time. With Jee around, shopping always seems an ease. Great shopping buddy! Haha.. suddenly rem e gay uncle in Mos Burger. Can't help but to laugh at his "dance" horr?

I got e photos decoration done up with Bryan aka e busy guy. LOL! Task accomplished and I like what we have done. Now only left with e plastic covering to protect the masterpiece.

My MAC is e old verion. 10.4 and I need e 10.5 version. Same thing for my iphone. Why am I so behind time always? Can't even catch online worldcup. Introduce e webbie to Sis and she can watch on her pc. Haiz.. and I gotta resort to watch shared screen from another person's pc. Not clear somemore. -.- I rather go coffeeshop and watch! But no la... I wish I can go St James and watch soon! Most e matches seems exciting. Should get hold of The Newspaper to get e latest update.

Wanna go short trip but how to plan for a Mon-Tues short getaway. Limited choices for a 2d1n trip except to Batam/Bintan. Pls gimmi some gd ideas.

At 5.30pm, we managed to catch F.I.R for their concert tix autograph session. It was really a pop by but I'm glad that we managed to listen to their songs and I even video them down. I am super tempted to go to their concert! Haha... If I can't find anyone to go with, it only means that I shd save up the money for other things.

Bought last min bday pressie for Ysa's 2nd bday celebration @ kiddy palace after watching F.I.R. Happy that Jee was there to choose e pressies with me and accompanied me to go as well. Glad that Nelson could pick us up at e MRT stn w/o us having to find e place on our own. Super elated to see such beautiful and cute bday cake, to be able to see my ex-colleagues, etc. Even more jubilated that Yvonne said her daughter loves e pressies we bought for her.

shiok KTV session till 3am

It's amazing how one is not tired after hanging out late till 12am plus on Thurs and still went for a ktv session till 3am on Fri night. This has to do with e mentality obviously! When u tell yourself that it's Fri and Sat got no work, u can naturally feel "awake".

Though Fri is not as tiring as I thought I would be, my eyes were still quite dry. i went to rub and my right eye's contact lens literally went missing! i was really unsure if it went into e back of my eye or drop off. i was trying to focus on my pc screen but it's tough to see things when one of e eyesight is so blur that i had to use my palm to cover my right eye to do my work. i went to the ladies and take a gd look at e mirror to see if my contact lens is inside but NOPE. just felt abit irritating but still unsure if it's in my eye. haha.. even went to ask my colleague if they can see it. my funny colleague said, "it's surely inside, u have to wait for it to slowly 'climb out from your eyes' " and truly it did! Save my day lah.. if not, how to work for e rest of e day w/o suffering a headache or even go for e ktv unless i sneak out to buy another pair of contact lenses.

We went at Chinatown's ktv, celebrating Cyn's belated bday. It's a bad idea to go on Fri if u wanna save $. $30++ is what I heard. Now the $8 promotion is still ongoing till Oct for Sun-Thurs. Just that we all have work commitment so we can't really afford to go on other days. Anyway, we requested to extend our time cos we haven't sung enough. Judy n I only reached at 9 plus to know that our ktv session will end at 11.45pm. How can?!! they were saying that we can only use e rooms downstairs if we want to extend cos the existing room has been taken already. we agreed even though we knew that it's like an instant downgrade to us. lvl 4 is so high tech and stuffs but lvl 3 is still using e old system where we can't really locate e songs and e room is like a freezer which is super cold and there's no way to adjust e air-con and even e remote control got problem. still, e gd points are that we can use e room until closing time at 4am with no additional charges unless we order drinks/food and e room is more cozy as compared to e spacious room upstairs.

WHO is gonna catch some worldcup matches with me? i found no soul bcos i nvr ask and i assume no one would be doing so with me. so this is me. prefer to stay like this unless pple approach me. then i will sound all excited when pple say... u got watch worldcup one meh.. wtf lah.. it's always like this. this is my personality. so yups.. super passive, what to do??

i love shopping better than anything else esp. when i can shop till i drop w/o no limits! much better than going batam for some cheap deals for massage/spa. smth like going to BKK, u dun even have to care abt how much u spend and u just spend like running water and u get gd buys. i have been going to Dragonfly + ktv to destress... cos i feel e need to. esp. when life is all abt work and work, u really gotta find some entertainments to balance it up. so i treasure all these and i'm glad to find pple of e same interest.

weekend is short and i can't wait to take a gd break.. nt those take leave then nua at home kind la. this type, u can always cnxl ur sat appt and stay at home. it's those that i can go somewhere like those resort beaches in redang, bintan etc. not sentosa, definitely! i wanna go to places where i can find no familiar faces and i find that those places are just meant for me when i truly need a gd escapade.

waiting for my appetite to improve,

as i no longer can have e luxury to munch my bread in e morn

bcos i have too much disruptions.

i can only do so b4 work which i nvr wake up early enuff to do so.

w/o breakfast, i find that my energy n concentration lvl is affected.

i broke e promise of going to gym with a new colleague

bcos i simply can't find a gd timing to do so.

if i were to go after work, i must ensure that i dun feel too hungry.

this is to do with lifestyle? time management? or self-discipline?

i need to take charge of all these and not let my life go haywire anymore.

more n more things seem to happen.

everyday i will encounter different things.

it's no longer e same as before bcos it's much happening.

i hope that i can deliver my service well

as time goes by.

some pple are pinning high hopes on me,

from the way e words they say directly/indirectly.

i know that it's a long way to go.

it can be challenging or fun.

it's stressful or fulfilling.

it's either u can do it or u can't.

if i can survive, it means i will go a long way.

pple are there to encourage me,

to guide me, to teach me,

to give me tips, i dunno...

i gotta trust them more.

i won't be left alone bcos they will always be there for me.

i do feel a little stress

bcos of the many things that i dunno,

and it seems like i must find out e ans no matter what.

at e same time,

e stress is different from last time.

somehow right now,

there's really sense of satisfaction

when u managed to finish a task given.

i just hope that i can get e basics right;

dun miss out the must-do things

and pick up more things as i go along.

there's still a long way to go.

i shd have expected this and be mentally prepared. when u think u know something, there's so many things that u dunno. information overloaded. i wanna discard away all the unnecessary stuffs and retain those that i need to remember.

i need gingko. i need ample time to rest. I miss those pple i used to work with. i really think that they are e best pple ever. MAYBE im still a greenhorn here. everything is just so new, even the photocopier works slightly differently. i just need time to adapt to e environment which is supposedly to be a familiar place. it's just e 1st week... and i thank God for e long weekend!

having gastric after having e coffee cakes in e late noon. im beginning to stay away from coffee, even starbucks coffee! i'm now doing my facial mask while waiting for my hair to dry and typing this entry. multi-tasking like this is my forte! abit sian to think that im going to wake up earlier than working days tmro morning but no choice! i must make myself do some exercise to keep fit! must wake up b4 7am.

Gong Xin Ji is a really nice show. Initially I didn't like it cos of e 1st episode, find e drama too complicated to understand but subsequently, the more episodes i watch, the more exciting it gets!

used to be "high profile" but now i choose to keep the thoughts to myself. even nowadays, i can live w/o much blogging, not keeping any private blogs or diary either. nth is safe on e net. e more u write, e more u are exposing urself to "dangers". there's simply too many threats in e www. there's this openbook.com that we should be aware of. no matter how privatise ur profile setting is, ur status may still be reflected publicly.

Hair straightening demo & O.P.I manicure

Attended Babelicious workshop on nails, tresses and facial.

The guy above was giving us a talk on how to take care of our gorgeous tresses on Redken products. Picked me to demo cos my hair really needs some straightening. I reckoned that long ago and he has just confirmed it. He shared with us alot of tips with us on our tresses. He taught us how to use the heat iron when we DIY. We will just grab everything and straighten it. For 1st timers, we can just try out the curler or straighteners w/o switching on the heat and familiarise ourselves with it 1st. Those who wash their hair b4 going out and are lazy to blow dry, walking out with the back of their shirts wet. These are the pple who shd go for live in conditioner for their hair cos our hair is the weakest when it's wet. When exposed to the sun, it will cause more damage.

After the workshop, it's time to try out the manicure!

To date, it shd be my 4th time doing manicure. 1st time was at Bugis Icon, 2nd time at Bugis and 3rd time for Grace's ROM. 1st two times weren't quite a pleasant experience as some of it smudged and me being such a perfectionist, I actually went to remove everything the next day. 3rd time was the best one ever. Done it at Jurong HDB area where it's recommended by SH. It was so well kept that I had it with me for 2 weeks. This round, it's bcos of the special promotion by Babelicious workshop where my bestie and I get to enjoy the Express Manicure at $5 (U.P. $14) at LadyFinger! It's such a gd deal!

From the pic above, as you can see, I've picked orange. Something that I thought would be unique rather than the usual pink or red or purple (which I've tried b4). The manicurist assured me that the colour is nice, being the latest range that comes from Hong Kong. Colour code: H47. I love bright colours but I guess this will only be suitable for beach dress. While I had the colour on, I was wondering what to wear for work for e next day and e following 1-2 wks.

Back at home, Mom don't like the colour. Say it's like chili red... too bright!

Back in office, Cyn had no comments, Marg thinks it's "not nice" and "too old" for me and in e afternoon AC said it looks so retro and she was wondering whose hand was that when I post the above pic on fb and didn't know I would be e one choosing this colour. LOL. Sounds bad enough? Then I happened to buy M&M chocolates and guess what, e orange one matches perfectly with my nails as pointed out by Keith. He even told me not to eat the M&M but to eat my nails. Oh manz.. dots! And finally came Yati, who said my fingers are long and slim and the nail shape is pretty and e colour is... NICE too! I was like, hey u are the only person who thinks it's nice and no one dare to leave any bad comments on my fb photo! And she said she will put there it's nice. hahaha.. funny!

labour day! Baby Fair @ Expo!

Stomach growling - abit hungry now! Dinner at 6 plus just now. Boohoo. Having a super bad sorethroat that I had to cover my ears when I swallow my saliva. Running nose and sneezing during e day and super slpy by now =( I'm praying for a speedy recovery! It's my bad to slp late and had laksa yest to worsen the case. But I dun care cos e laksa was too good to be missed!

Despite all these, i had a great time spent from 5pm onwards as we brought Baby Princess out. Kor has borrowed a car. We went to the Baby Expo fair at Hall 4A and had alot of great buys! Drypers diapers, baby wipes, clothings, colourful cloth book for toddlers, baby bites food, etc! As for Grace, Jean and I, we love what we bought at e Metro sales at Hall 6 too! My white-lace cross-back blouse is only selling at $7.

It's Ting's 1st time in baby stroller too! So cute. Small in size. Attracted some ppl's attention too. Guess they wanted to get smth similar too.

On 10 April, Janise invited us over to have e baby's full mth celebration at her hse. Her bb keeps wanting to fall aslp no matter how we wake him up and he's only awake for a short while right after i came by in e afternoon. whoo~

Haha.. another cutie pie that never fails to catch our attention! Baby Ian always have those curious and innocent look on his face. His big round eyes and chubby face makes him look so cute!

My all-time fave game though I very much forgot the rules to go about playing it. This SpongeBob monopoly is pretty fun! Cyn and I had a gd laugh over this when I even need to mortgage my properties just to pay back the rental fees to her when I dun have enough cash on hands. Only to find out that she calculated the amount wrongly! I already redeemed back most of my mortgages by returning to the bank with 10% interest rate. So i gotta refund back my $ and so on. But in e end, Cyn still won e game as I stepped onto her properties with 3 pineapples on it (duh!) and gotta return her 2k which is alot of $. lol!

Haha. Janise is so nice to let me, WS and KW to carry her baby even though we have to admit that we have no skill in doing so. We dare not carry little babies but prefer to do so when they are slightly grown up. Should I say that pics are deceiving?! my poly fren commented in fb that i looked like i'm ready to be a mom! hahahaa. Do i have this motherly look that i didn't notice all these while or only applies to this pic?

Room revamped! double decker bed has become 2 separate beds. the above pic is taken yesterday without mattress.

today it's quite nice with e beds at each side, and a passage way in between, with the table at e side near e window. now it seems more like a girl's hostel room to me. kinda pretty though it's just a change of furniture settings. if e wall can be paint in lavender (light purple), i will love it to e core and probably kiss e wall during my slp. haha!

2nd week has passed. It's not as busy as e previous week! We all seem to be on e track this time. for me, I still have so much more to pick up. I'm getting more hands-on to what I'm supposed to do for e next 3 mths plus to go. I'm not feeling as stressful as I thought things would be, so I'm here to thank pple who are keeping me in prayers!

Kinda looking fwd to next Tues - RWS! i just realised that they are open only until 6pm on wkdays and maybe e pple having e special passes from 7-10pm is not that many and we won't have to wait too long for e queues to e rides.

If it's e last time, I'll be over e moon. Now I'm containing my excitement in a controlled way. Bcos things are no longer the same. I can tell e sincerity for this invitation but I won't read so much into it anymore. I just wanna throw everything at e back of my mind and enjoy everything that is in stored for us. Even if it's just 1 or 2 rides, it's gd enough for me.

Few nights b4, I went to bed at 9pm. Gdness gracious, I woke up at 1 plus automatically but slp within 3mins after looking at my iphone for fb updates haha.. and slept all e way till morning. Next day, I told myself to slp at 11pm instead. It works as I was able to slp thru out e night. Guess it's not easy to adjust e slping patterns but bcos I wanna lead a healthier lifestyle, I will be persistent to do it.

Same applies for eating habits, I wanna ensure that I have smth to eat during "hi-tea time".

Mon: 1 slice of Pandan Kaya cake fr Bengawan Solo

Tues: 1 box with 2 Futomaki sushi rolls

Wed: (none, was too full after e Nasi Lemak lunch provided by hotels)

Thurs/Fri: Petit Provence kaya & chocolate croissants-like wassants

The only thing I've yet to try is to have breakfast @ e market b4 going to work in e morning! I wanna try this out next wk.

Tmro will be a relaxing day! Movie, GenRev svc followed by dinner with a fren to discuss e scrapbook. Yups~

Sunday... no plans yet except to go for svc. Haven't decide e timing though.

Yups! I love March!!! this mth is full of joy, happiness and fun!

And this yr is indeed a restful yr of increase, I so believe in this. In Jesus' name, Amen!

Yours truly is back to blog! haha! Enjoyed myself so much during all my 6 days of long weekend, took 4 days of leave plus weekend! 11-16 March!

in fact, i had more fun than usual when i dun spend it overseas! thanks God that im able to spend it so fruitfully with e bunch of loved ones and gd frens by my side! u know who u are! love u guys so much!

on 18th March, knocked off at 7.30pm and in time to give Grace Sis a bday surprise! so glad that e plan was carried out smoothly as planned! whoo~

great to see ppl like Donovan, Twinnie, pple whom i've not seen for so long. i felt that nth has really changed. after so long, e familiar feeling is still there!

I have the following short term goals to fulfill, go go go!!!

- gain weight - eat well, slp well & spend lesser time online

- go gym, exercise weekly

- get rid of all my acne

i was listening and singing along to many songs thru youtube, cos when u choose a song, they will have related videos that featured familiar, nice songs. that's when i realise that i've forgotten that Jay Chou has this song called 藉口. it's nice to listen to his songs.

i love to sing during shower although i sound like killing chickens each time. hahaa but i enjoy doing this so much bcos it helps me to destress. yeah!

From today onwards till July, i'll be pretty busy at work. I wanna excel just like anybody. I can do it, I can do it! yes! I believe in myself!

Although I nvr plan for any short trips during my next few days of leave, I still plan to make e full use of these few days! I'm gg to declare that this will be one of e best times of my lives!

Sign Language, Movie, Mahjong!

Had our 4th sign language class held at Raffles Place. Was supposed to meet up at 10.50am but I was slightly late for 10mins cos i've OVERSLEPT. Was just so tired due to the lack of slp this wk. For whatever reason, I just can't get rid of this unhealthy habit of slping late. And I thought I was e only one who skipped breakfast that day, but nope! Praise GOD! They all didn't have breakfast either! Cyn, Cheryl and I ended up at Hans, with Darren leading the way. Ruth only managed to join us much later of e day. Was glad to see them cos I've been missing out on their life for too long, since e last time I attended CG which was in Jan.

Missed one lesson held last wk. Cyn & I really hope that there'll be some recap. Wah.. things are just gg well for us cos Cheryl needed that too and Darren dun mind gg thru lesson 3 with us all over again! Our Lao Shi loves to crack lame jokes to make us laugh but sometimes he will laugh more than us. Well, that's his way to entertain us to make e lesson more fun. Personally I think I've learnt more this round.

Had Ice Almond Milk Tea from Mr Teh Tarik! VERY nice! The taste that I've missed for 2 yrs+ even since I left LA. The entire Raffles Place area, be it Golden Shoe, The Arcade, China Square, brings me back lot of memories!

Later part of the day, went to Iluma to catch "Alice in Wonderland" with Cyn. Didn't watch e trailer or anything and just thought it's a cartoon sorta thing, but to my surprise it's much better. I love e graphics and everything, adventurous and entertaining. The most interesting character will still be given to the "Mad Hatter" by Johnny Depp! I think he's just so cute in his own way~

Mahjong time at night time! 1st time played 20, 40 cents and lose quite a bit, $14+. I dun mind cos it's machiam like my cab fare if I were to take from her place to mine with the midnight charge. Anyway, Cyn was nice to send me back home so I can save on my cab fare. We played from 10pm till abt 1 plus to complete all e Dong Nan Xi Bei winds. I just love to play mj more n more though I will still tend to forget to take one more tile after I "kang" e tiles. -.-'''

IT FAIR is coming - 11 March - 14 March 2010 at Suntec City. In fact, I'm supposed to be free to go but nope, I've lined up quite a no. of activities next wk and I just wanna enjoy myself to e fullest!

I have so many things undone:

1) I've 1 more facial + 2 eye treatments from my previous facial package not utilised. I will sure go back to finish up e packages I have since I have spent a bomb on them. 2) Dental appt - I've yet to make any appt. Will do so latest by next Mon.

3) I have to do up a new passport quickly b4 a one-day trip to Muar in April cos my ppt expires this Sept. I'm really curious as to why they have set such rules to say that we can't travel within 6 mths from expiry date. Then why dun they just set the expiry date on the date itself? Haha. Oh Oh! Pls break e curse of having ugly photos for my passport and IC. I already have an ugly photo for my IC which I can only wait for another 6 more yrs to change. Pls let e new ppt-size photos turn out well. Hah!

4) Will have to start listening to JJ Lin's new songs b4 his concert on 13 March which coincides with Jam Hsiao's concert!

5) Getting mentally prepared for 9th March onwards to come. How many believe that leadership is already something inborn in a person? If u belong to the follower's category, even if someone make u a leader, it will never be your forte. Part of me is hoping to see some leadership qualities in me that is undiscovered during these 4 mths to come. Another part of me is of cos, having fears that I choose not to think about. I will just cast all my worries to God. Thank you Lord, Amen!

I've received my 2nd bday pressie! Guess what?! It's a pink cardigan that my mom bought for me from Cotton O. That's really quite a surprise to me. Hehe.. also took a risk to ask my mom to choose a spect frame for me using back my old spect lenses. What she has chosen for me was smth similar to my previous one, just a change in colour this time from red to smth like maroon. Thanks mummy for everything!

One of e best bday gifts I've received so far. It's the earliest bday pressie received this yr.

"It is a happy heart that holds a friend" Precious Moment figurine. It's a love at 1st sight. When I first saw it, I wish that I can become the owner of it! I love e crystal heart that gives off different spectrums when it's placed under the light. Overall, it's just so sweet and meaningful to get it as a gift from my beloved friends - Ling, Cindy, Stel n Jas! Big thx for getting something from my bday wishlist yeah~ ^^

Had a very yummylicious CNY-cum-bday lunch celebration at Paradise Inn @ 313 Somerset (B3).

Celebrating Cindy's belated bday and my advanced bday together with CNY Lo Hei. There's all together 6 of us and we just ordered e CNY set meal for 3 to 4 persons and ordered other ala carte like 2 more drinks and boiled soup and one dish of Yang Zhou fried rice to share. Whoa~ The food there are all highly recommended.

Out of which, I love the "Hot Plate Tofu with Preserved 'Cai Xin'" and "Stir-Fried Curly Noodle in Hong Kong Style" the most. Oh oh! Not forgetting the Rock Melon Sago dessert that is so soothing and e sweetness seems to linger on my taste bud.

Had Lo Hei towards the end as we were waiting for Jason to join us. It's my 6th Lo Hei for e yr. Haha! I'm gonna HUAT all e way in the Tiger YR! ROARRR~ I was busy taking video of the Lo Hei process and dunno who went to "lo" the yusheng onto my chopsticks again. I can see that we were all very excited bcos e yusheng seems to be all over e table. No matter how big or small e table is, for each Lo Hei, e same thing seems to happen.

Thanks Cindy for suggesting to have chinese cuisine and her colleague for recommending her this dining place! Prices are reasonable probably bcos of e CNY set packages. Each of us only paid less than $25 for such a sumptuous meal.

Thanks ALL for being such gd friends. I can't wait for our next outing! Waiting for Jason to put our plans into action cos he is our official organiser! We are all waiting okay? APRIL! April, e 9th! pls come faster~

Life is abt doing things that I enjoy.

How to deal with stress?

It can be doing things we like.

What I like to do? I wonder how much do my friends know about me?

* Playing real mj tiles recently

* Playing wahjong (as alternatives)

* Reading Lifestyle, motherhood magazines (surprised?!)

* Attending marriage/raising up a child seminar (equally surprised?!)

* Reading motivational books! (like It's I'MPOSSIBLE)

* Having lots of activities lining up in my organiser (iPhone calendar)

* Grp gatherings/catching up with my family or gd old frens!

* Some days, I love to be alone so there's when Kino bookstore comes abt or even shopping @ taka/far east plaza/raffles city, etc!

* If can, I wanna subscribe to cable tv. I love to watch National Geographic/Discovery documentaries! I dun like to read those magazines but prefer to watch them live!

* I love taking pictures of my life but not photography which involves skills, money etc. I like to do it e leisure way.

* Love to chill out! Timbre, Brewerks???!

* Love crowds bcos of e atmosphere. Even if I dun understand football, it's fine if I watch it with a crowd that enjoys that particular team! I'm that kinda person who loves to be in a happening place. That also explains why I love clubbing on ladies night, public Holidays, weekends!

* Love to engage in exercising activities, but till date, still can't find pple to go Macritchie reservoir for jogging session. Have thought of running at stadium but not alone. So always opt for cycling at ECP which seems e easiest. Maybe next wk onwards, shall hit the gym again since it's just a stone's away from our office!

I love to be with pple like cousin Cory during CNY, who always share with me abt her biz/leisure trips to so and so places, eg. how she find herself e apartment for her relocation and making full use of her co's hse allowance benefits, etc. From there I always learn alot and I realise that our age gap dun really draw us apart when we have common topics.

Same applies for cousin PS during CNY. I like to hear her share abt getting super gd deal facial masks, holiday trips to Japan, etc! Getting tips that I can tap on to. Sometimes, we will be sharing juicy gossips that can be entertaining. Haha!

I realise that I'm not a person who love to share abt my life, except to really really close friends (if u belong to that category, u are really privileged!) I prefer to listen most of e time. Each time when I see those pple whom I seldom see, I know that they will be telling me abt their life experiences, which tends to be nothing but FUN! :)

I might not have an actual goal in life, but I do hope that by age of 35, I can have a property of my own like a warm cosy hse (like those designed by Bryan Wong in Home Decor 摆家乐) where I can invite pple to come over for stayover, bbq, baking or even mahjong session. stating things that won't run out since i can't be typing for WII session when I dunno what's in trend by then. lol

Yaya... i want a gd future but I am still floating.

Till now, I'm still lacked of discipline. Help! wanna do up my XXX but... there's simply too much excuses for myself.

Back from BKK trip (23-26 Jan)!

Seems more like a blessing bcos I nvr know that I can find gd companions to go with me in such a short time! 4d3n can be long or short depending on how u see it. for me, i prefer to have a relaxing trip so i rather spent the holiday shopping, eating, etc and not rush everywhere and not get enough slp and have to keep changing lodging. This time, i have ample time shopping at Chatuchuk weekend market, Platinum Fashion Wholesale Mall, Suan Lum Night Bazaar, etc!

Only thing that I missed out was e massage. Mainly bcos my cousin & biao sao dun really like it and for e foot reflexology which we planned to do it on Day 3 was called off bcos my biao sao started to have blisters on her both feet. I thought I'm pretty proud to be shopping by myself at Platinum fashion mall and City Pratunam/Pratunam market from 2 to 5pm (BKK time). Since there's only 1 hotel key, we agreed to meet back at the hotel at 5pm and I seized all the time that I have just to do all e shopping!

Particularly love e 3 photo albums that I got from a shop that looks like Daiso at Platinum mall which sells all the cutie stuffs, mickey tee shirts, mini drawers, keychains, etc! The prices are absolutely attractive if u buy at least 3 pieces. Gotten myself a pair of pink Birkins at only 150 baht and I got mine at 130 baht (last piece and e owner automatically reduced e price for me, so blessed!). it's VERY cheap compared to another shop that sells ard 350 baht. my cousin even complemented that I really know how to shop by buying those gd for money stuffs and not just anyhow splurge. hahahaa... true enough. not all shops allow us to try on clothings, if not, I will surely buy more.

i guess i have e habit of restricting my spending if i feel that i won't have enough. upon going there, i paid for my hotel charges (2093 baht equivalent to SGD91 as at that date). With e extra 2k over baht, I believe I can shop for alot more stuffs! haha.

2 things happened and I thank God for making things right in Jesus' name. 1stly, we nearly missed the check in timing which was supposed to be 9.55am (an hr b4 the dep timing), who knows we only reached e airport at 10.20am. I was praying for miracle to happen while we were on e train. What happened was that the initial timing of 10.55am was retimed to 11.20am! We even have more time to shop ard at DFS shops.

The other incident was at Thailand's airport. We were asked to give 6K over baht to the tour guide without issuing any receipt for us and claimed that we would only get it during our last day of stay in the hotel. When we reached e hotel, e hoteliers told us that they dun have our booking records and wanted us to present them our hotel vouchers or even receipt and we dun have any. Gdness. Luckily they managed to call up e agency over there and managed to get things cleared up. Indeed, they said they did receive our payment and got our booking dates wrongly. Thank goodness! Lesson learnt? No matter what, get a receipt when u make payment. I only took e pic of e guy counting our money like a paparazzi (where got enough?!) haha! Anyway, here's e pics! *teeheehee*

OKAY~ i will say that I'm gg to BKK again if i can find great kakis and manage to take leave. yayness! ^^

1st blog entry for the yr. There were still a couple of entries for Dec 09, had wanted to blog those but it seems like a chore esp. when I trsf my pics over to my harddisk which were categorised into different folders which means I have to do advance search to get the pics out.

Many things in my mind. Had been very stagnant during 2009 except towards the end of e yr. Breaking e crazy cycle of e BGR, becoming closer with my friends like Sis, SH, Jee, Jean, etc, arrival of princess Hui Ting that brought so much happiness to us, getting to meet up with sec sch friends whom i haven't seen them since poly days like Hendry, Meah, etc, preparation of Cousin Wai's wedding and at e same time, getting back in contact with pple like JT whom I can trust totally. For besties like Jasmine and WX, I couldn't thank them more for their listening ears and more imptly, I enjoy their company lots for e countless events we went together. When God closes one door, he opens so many windows for me. I started to get closer with Cyn too. I received so many advices and supportive words from pple like JC, Jenny, Judy, Stephy, etc. Felt really blessed to be surrounded by friends. Joining CG towards e end of e yr was like a double blessing too.

Today is baby Princess 5th mth! so fast right?! still a baby. very cute in fact! hahaa... just now, she just lied on my chest and fell aslp on me during dinner time. Sis helped me to cut e chicken chop that I ordered into pieces while i continued to let ting ting slp on me and ate with one hand. I guess I'm pretty proud of that, cos im also lightening Grace's workload (if not, she will need to wear e baby sling so that she can eat freely).

Went for a haircut (only my fringe), while SH aka "big godma" took over the baby. Sis went for a trim as well. Looked so much younger. It's funny when u see baby Ting giving her mummy the blur look as though she's thinking "is this my mummy, how come she looks so different?"

Ended e day with lotsa photo taking at Sis' hse. A crazy & happy day!

CG Christmas Party!

Had much fun with the CG: Magical Christmas Extravaganaza!

It's my 1st time joining them and i felt really glad to be part of them. The food committee prepared really nice beef stew with pasta, very yummy pumpkin soup, which they had tested them out prior to the actual day!

After worship, we had a gd time eating the wonderful feast prepared by the gals while enjoying the video pre-recorded by Esther since she's not able to join us for the party as she's overseas.

* I didn't know that I was supposed to perform a song with Cindy & Jas^gal until Monday. Was deciding between SHE's songs - Bu Xiang Zhang Da or some other catchy songs. We decided to sing 2R's Shining Friends as it's more meaningful. Haha.. was kinda nervous while performing even though we were singing together. Looks like it's time to focus on how to gain confidence in this area! Received a compliment from beloved Ruth that our singing was gd and she also cannot tell that I'm nervous. Praise God! Won't know until I see the video itself.. haha.

We had a bday surprise for Clement and Shirley too.

Dinner Buffet at Feast @ East Restaurant!

So glad to be one of the lucky winners for a complimentary dinner buffet for 2 during a hotel presentation by Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel! It's a perfect Christmas gift for us. Actually, I got e voucher quite a while back but I specially took leave to go since it's only available during the weekdays with no additional charge.

Went with mummy to enjoy e great food! The Laksa is definitely a must-try! The chinese food suits mom best. The prawns are so fresh! haha.. personally i love e Christmas cakes! woo~ love love love.

Mom has accompanied me to get some Christmas pressies for my friends at Parkway Parade prior to our dinner. I've bought a pretty notepad from a Christian shop which will be given during the CG christmas party. haha.. hope that whoever gotten this gift will love it!

Gathering cum SH's belated bday celebration!

Surprise belated bday celebration for Shu Hui. We postponed this celebration for too long, until Shu Hui thought that we are gg to buy Christmas gifts for Hui Ting instead. Jas^gal and I went to get SH her fave Bakerzin oreo cheesecake and also a bouquet of sunflowers! So glad that she loves them!

Dinner time, we went to Jurong Point's Safra. SH, Jas^gal and I took turns to carry Ting while the Sis n Kor could have some private time to themselves. lolz.. we so "yong xin liang ku" =P

Eat eat eat! Met my cousin and biao sao to Pple's Park Centre to check out the tour packages prices since we couldn't decide on anything last night.

After that we went to e famous place to Chicken wings and frog leg chicken porridges. It's worth e wait cos we have been talking abt eating it since dunno when. Heard that Geylang's frog leg porridge is nicer. Haha.. I'm okay with this too.

Venue for our holidays was changed from TPE to HKG/Macau to Penang to BKK! We are fickle-minded, aren't we? We finally booked e air tix online today =) yayness!

Korean Foodie!

Great feast with a gd fren @ an authentic Korean restaurant run by a Korean lady boss. Nice food, nice ambience! I really like it.

The restaurant was full house later on. Another table was having a bday celebration with a grp of pple.

Everyone were taking among themselves but I could sense that my voice was also one of e loudest. LOL!

Had a gd time and left at ard 10pm. Going home to book my air tix for Jan! Holidays! I'm coming!!

Was supposed to go clubbing after that with Cyn and her friends. Last min, her frens couldn't make it so we would postpone it to another time. Jean and I chose to have dinner at Tiong Bahru Plaza, thinking it was the nearest shopping mall to Zouk, besides Great World City.

Chit-chatted b4 taking some pics at the Christmas Tree outside TBP. I swear that we had a difficult time getting the right lighting, the right position, etc. All thanks to my silver-grey pants that made all the photos turned out to be too bright. I guess it's e mode and exposure that we gotta adjust. Not professionally trained on that so yeah, the only way out is to re-take like nobody's business. Luckily, the picture that we got someone else to take for us turned out to be okay. I dun wanna have another NG shootings. lolz!

Caught Hua Mulan at the Cathay with my fren. The movie was so-so only, not like how Janise narrate until so nicely that it's a must-watch. Dunno is it bcos I was filled with too much information on the whole story including the ending, that's why there's no thrill in watching or that I was totally not interested in shows to do with war and historical scenes. I was following the movie closely but it just dun make me feel touched. Haha.. sometimes i wonder am I some cold-blooded reptiles instead of a mammal bcos i dun even feel a thing when the main lead cut his wrist to get e blood to save Hua Mulan.

Hmmm... dinner was a treat by my cousin n XQ @ Ajisen at PS. didn't eat much but was thinking of other foods during e dinner. my cousin was so excited when he knows that we are planning to go Geylang 126 to eat. yeah yeah.. i already went to have it last Tues with Janise n her hubby. I just love e food so much. We just kept ordering. lolz. AND yes!! We have scheduled to go on.... *drum rolls*... the 24th! whoohoo! =D

I have a thought that I felt so strongly abt right now. In life, many things can be done with different pple. Even the same thing, u dun necessarily have to do it with e same person. Just like e dim sum at 126, I've not been there since the 1st and last time with D. seriously, i nvr thot of gg again in such a near future bcos i dun have many frens with trpt and i dunno of pple who are keen to go.. but who knows.. things just happen so naturally! i felt so blessed!

Had a long day! Met up with Nelson, my cousin n XQ to get e wedding pics from Nelson. LOL.. me, being e kiasu one, also brought my harddisk along to save e pics! =P

Had lunch at e foodcourt @ Bugis junction with my cousin n XQ. Met up with Jee later on and went Botanics garden to see e Avelife's Christmas tree lighting up. Jian Wen also came with us.

One of the nicest Christmas trees there. there's 150 trees in all. Some are made up of recycled materials, one of them really looks more like it's decorated with CNY oranges, there's also those normal ones decorated with christmas bells, ribbons, etc. They really acts like lamp posts along the way.

Then we had dinner at Xin Wang @ PS before heading to Timbre(s)! Went to take a look at the one at Old School and the one at the Arts House. Both my frens like e one at the Arts House but I prefer the Old School! I like e atmosphere, the live band there and the open space. It's so cool and everything that I thought of going there one of these days to chill out :D Not necessarily to be on my bday anymore.

Later on, we walked our way near the bridge opposite One Fullerton Hotel. The lighting looks so gd. My camera seldom produces such nice effects on night photos. We are e lucky ones! Thanks Jian Wen for e ride home! =)

Right place, right time

How I came to this CG is how God places everything into place.

It's e same one that I meet my pri sch fren, Cindy, whom I've not seen for yrs! She made me felt so welcome when she exclaimed to everyone in excitement "HEY! She's my pri sch fren!!". My sec sch senior, Faith, also attends the same CG. Peili, the gal who contacted me via email is also Edwina's fren. Can I say that the world is truly small?!

Prior to this, I've tagged along with Jas^gal after svc several times to join them for dinner so I've known quite a few of them even b4 coming to this place. God is really gd to put me in a place where there's familiarity.

Bcos of e area I stay in, they allocated me to this cg. It happens to be at the same blk where Jean lives in. Normally on Fridays, work ends late for me. It's just so coincident that my colleague has to go off early every Fri for her lessons and I also have the privilege to end work early. Hence, I was able to join them for the very 1st time today after receiving Peili's email!

After CG, normally the folks will go for prata session. Bcos Jas^gal was gg back with her bf, I tot of going back home since I was sick. Who knows our CG leader suggested to have supper at nowhere but ABC market which sounds like a gd idea for me to join them. Later on, they had a change of venue after we waited for 10mins for e bus to come and e place was perfectly fine for me too - Bukit Merah's MacDonalds.

Wooo. I enjoyed e company of really nice and friendly pple like my CG leader, Cheryl, Esther and Ruth. I was happy to share some of my stuffs and had wise advices from some of them.

Soon, it was closed 12.30am and we were all ready to go off. Since I live very near by, they dropped me off at my place.

I certainly know it wasn't by pure coincidence but God's way of letting us know that he's here with us. It all started from the finished work at the cross. Thanks God for everything that has happened in my life! Amen!

Cousin's big day!

This is e 1st wedding that I'm much involved in. Maybe it all started when my cousin was searching for a photographer and I recommended my colleague to them. Then it was when my cousin voiced out that they needed a bridesmaid and thinks that I'm perfect for this task (felt so honoured!), things starts to get exciting!

The day when we met up with my colleague for discussion on the Actual Day (AD), my Biao Sao received a call from bridal shop to say that the wedding pics were collected for collection. I was so lucky to view it with them. Then, we went to buy the red wine together as well. Even for the wedding dinner's seating plan, I was doing part of the planning. My cousin was sourcing for male emcee to help out and I've managed to find my sec sch classmate to help out, which also created a chance for us to catch up too. Cos of my bridesmaid role, I have the chance to plan the door clashing games with the "sisters", my biao sao's cousins who happens to be around my age, plus and minus 1 yr. Of which, I love the "love contract" that we did! The masterpiece is like a gift for the newly wed. I'm so proud of it and suggested displaying it at the reception during the wedding dinner and they agreed.

During the AD, I woke up super early like 5.15am and just washed up and got to my Biao Sao's hse upstairs. 1st time going to her hse after being neighbours for so long. Reached her place at 5.45am and her makeup artiste (MUA) already started the makeup for her. Nelson, the official photographer for e day, came shortly followed by the videographer at 6am+. Then it was 6.30am when the sisters came too. I was halfway thru my makeup done by the MUA.

The Sisters were preparing the ingredients for the wasabi + seaweed bread and setting up the "Nobody" - Wonder Girls video (too bad! we didn't have enough time to make the groom & Brothers to dance!) Soon, it was 7.20am and my cousin and Brothers arrive! Wanna highlight that it was kinda touching to hear my cousin shouting 3 times loudly as per our instructions - "Baby! I'm so crazy over u!". He printed SGD10k notes and put inside the angbao to bluff us!! haahaa.. we were not fooled by him of cos. Then we made them eat the wasabi and seaweed bread saying that it's kaya bread and my cousin literally choked and teared on the wasabi. Some brothers enjoyed eating it but not my cousin. haha... gd way to sabo him huh... cos we knew he didn't like japanese food at all! =P It was super duper funny to hear him sing Xiao Wei (just that the words were replaced by Xiao Qing) so it was trailed off towards the end and I was practically laughing to tears when it was played during the video montage in e evening! Then when he wrote the 5th promise on the love contract and read it out, it turned out to be quite funny too! 尽在不言中 was his promise to his wife! Finally the groom got into the bride's room. hehe.. bcos of e videographer's instruction, we were counting down for 10s for them to kiss each other and it was the time, seeing a couple kissing right in front of us at such a close distance! hahaha!

Soon, it was followed by tea ceremony at groom's hse. e sisters nearly dashed 2 red lights cos e brothers were driving too fast and following so closely with our bridal car. luckily, e camera didn't capture anything or one of their probational license might be suspended. hmm.. everything else was quite smooth at his hse. Had lunch buffet there as well. Bride got changed into the Kua and we went over to Hort Park for the outdoor photo taking!

Over at Hort Park, e newly wed took a couple of pics at the pond area b4 going in further for more pics. had agreed earlier on for the bride to throw e hand banquet to the sisters to catch. 1st try, everyone missed it cos my biao sao aimed too far and it landed on the ground with a thud and many petals fell off. photographer and videographer instructed her to throw again capturing the moment and i got it! if it's sooooo zhun, it means next yr im getting married, nah, it's just some superstitious saying I guess =P

After the outdoor shoot, we went back to my biao sao's place for tea ceremony. Had some sweet desserts b4 heading to River View hotel. Rested for a while in e "sisters" room while e couple went back to their bridal suite room. Nelson helped the couple to take some shots at the Robertson Quay which is right below the hotel.

The couple washed up and got ready for e march-in rehearsals and Jian Ting also came around the same time to join in for e emcees rehearsals. They amended some of e scripts at the last min to make everything flow more smoothly. We told my cousin that it's a must to say a Thank You speech, so he got no choice but to think of e script on the spot. LOL.

Gd thing that my makeup lasted me throughout the day. I didn't touch up anything for e evening except on my lipstick! I overheard that e cost of my makeup and hairdo for e morning is SGD70. omg... that's like super EXP! Even the bride's makeup and hairdo weren't included in the package and she gotta pay SGD100. Gd money for MUA!

Times passed super quickly! I was already downstairs with the sisters at the reception, preparing myself cos the guest were arriving. Who knows while doing it halfway, my biao sao called and asked me why I wasn't helping her by holding onto her gown and her bag and accompany her downstairs instead. How could I put aside my main priority? my role as a bridesmaid that night was not over.. Was wondering how can I split myself into 2 parts when both sides need me. LOL. very soon, I rushed up to find my biao sao. Helped her down by holding on to her wedding gown to the reception area. Continued with my task at e reception. It's kinda complicated as the names are all in Mandarin and for those in English, they were not in alphabetical orders. I had a hard time finding the names. Luckily, my cousin's tang jie is a great help! =)

Hmm.. Soon, it was 8.30pm! 26 tables of guest were there. 2 tables not filled up.. as expected, there will sure be pple flying aeroplanes. i dun understand why pple can't take a wedding dinner seriously. if they have RSVP earlier on, they shd really make e effort to come. e couples were preparing themselves for e 1st march-in after everybody settled down.

Only managed to have e 1st dish b4 we rushed up for e bride to change into the 2nd gown! omg.. that's really fast.. cos we were told to do so only at the 3rd dish initially. but bcos of e delay for e 1st march-in and e video montage from childhood to wedding day will take quite long.. that's why we got no choice. For the 2nd march-in, the video of the morning's door-clashing games were played over e projector. I laughed until cry!! cos it's so funny to hear my cousin singing e Xiao Qing song and reading out the Love Promises!

Glad that my cousin and biao sao are satisfied with my role as a bridesmaid. Had a short chat with my other cousins. Was hoping to have more time to catch up with them. Nevertheless, I'm pretty satisfied with e photographer's and emcee's work. So thankful that I can find them for help.

It was not a decision based on emotions when I decided to break the news to you. Before I fell in love with you, I thought romance novels were just so silly: Why would a person cry for another person for hours? How could a person wait for his lover for years? That is plain silliness.

Before we became a couple, I thought romance movies were just so stupid: How could a person love another person so deeply that it became an obsession? How could one sacrifice so much, even to the extent of his own life, for his lover? That is plain stupidity.

a public hol on a friday is so cool! so in need of it! was working late everyday for 3 days this week and i really BTH. soooo an off day would mean so much to me xD

gotta do some DIY mani n pedi at home e night b4.

met up with Cyn, Jee & Jee's fren @ Iluma to catch 2012. a very touching movie and i actually teared during e show where i tot the wife and kids would lost the father. it was so closed! was wondering if e world would really come to an end in 2012. if so, there's only 3 yrs from now. i dun think there will be big spaceship for survivals who were given a special pass if the world really comes to an end. it would just be pure judgement day - gd souls will go to heaven and those who don't, will be sent to hell. there's so much to fulfill if we only have such a short time left and is given family or career to choose from, i will still choose family - as in settling down. i have typical traditional thinking. haha.

did last min shopping wz Jee @ Bugis. was super satisfied with this after shopping for so long.. it's either too exp or nth catches my eyes until we came along and saw this cutie couple bear!! =D i know instantly that is it! haahaa! =) mom wrapped it up @ home, ready for me to give my cousin and biao sao e next day at 5am+! yeah~ it's their big day which i've been talking abt it for quite some time and it's also my mom's bday!

hope my puffiness eyes will subside... and i will look gd e next day! pretty excited... as though i'm e one getting married. nah.. if im e one, i will be soooo nervous and much more excited than now. lolz!

it's sooooo gd to be on leave on a working day!! envy my frens like Kor, SH, who gets to go home early after work. they dun look as tired as me when i go back home which is already 8 plus 9 for this past few wks.

Catch up with Sis, Kor, Edwina and SH. Made baby princess cried cos she was very slpy and i insisted carrying her. She started getting frustrated and throwing tantrum by crying. Had made Sis very busy to calm her down. Luckily Sis didn't scold me. Partly it was bcos bb princess was hungry and partly, it's my fault too. After drinking of her milk, her mood got much better. 3rd pic above is my favourite-(est!!!) pic of e day taken from my iPhone. As there's no flash light, there won't be any delay in capturing the moment and so I've managed to take down the priceless smile of our darling princess. It simply made everyone's day just to see her giggling and smiling away!

Met up with Evan (Ed's fren) in real person for e 1st time. hah.. e familiar yet not so familiar feeling. wondering how it would be like to see Jolene in person next time. hehe.

Bumped into Z on e train on our way back home. he could still rem my name and even gave Ed and I his namecard. We exchanged msn and hp no. Well, it's been a long while since we last met! 6 yrs to be exact. Guys normally dun change much in terms of appearance so it's easy for us to recognise them. As for me, I think he said he only could tell that it's me from e recent pics of my fb. LOL. think i must have looked like a nerd or smth back in sch! =P

In fact, I'm so happy to have spent today with e pple I love~ What a gd day to be on leave! Thanks God for everything!

went for facial in e morning... this round, e extraction wasn't as painful. though no hardselling but I think they will still love to recommend their prdts each time i go. at least when i told them that i'm not buying, they were ok with it.

followed by a haircutting + highlighting + steaming session @ e auntie's hse. 1st time experience of having my hair done at someone's hse (other than my own hse where mummy used to cut for me when i was a little girl).

auntie is really nice, she even prepared food for us to fill our stomach. yummy beehoon with 5 xiang, fishballs, etc. she told us she forgot to put in the eggs for e beehoon and also forgot to serve us dessert cos she's too focus on doing our hair.

interestingly, she has all e equipments that is needed like a mini hair salon except that it's in e kitchen as u can see from the pics below.

e only thing that i dun like is e hair washing part in e washroom where i have to bend really low at the sink in order for e auntie to wash for me.

overall results: quite ok except that my fringe is kinda short. e hair colour turns out to be bright enough like what i wanted but received feedback that i dun look gd in this colour maybe due to my skintone and some says it's better for me to dye my hair iso doing highlight. auntie charged me very reasonably. thot it's really nice of her cos I won't get this rate if I go to other places for sure.

It seems fated for me not to meet a person. ebuddy was down and i couldn't connect or reset my pw no matter what i do until i was abt to go home, which was already 7pm. too late to meet up anyway. it seems like e person wasn't free to meet me either aft checking it out when i got home. better dun force anything to happen, just let things be natural

JB 1 day trip

Met up with Cyn and Judy at Kranji Mrt Stn at 11am to JB. Took bus 170 which was quite crowded on a Sat morning. Went to the new custom which was much better than the time I went with my friends during poly time. New it's fully air-conditioned like e airport custom, won't get frustrated waiting to clear the custom like previously. Thought we would have a hard time finding City Square but surprisingly it was so easy to locate. Just have to follow the signboard and it's fully sheltered all the way. Intention of going there was mainly for the massage which was recommended by Cyn.

Cyn and I had 60mins of Traditional Thai massage, while Judy chose the half body massage at Thai Odyssey. I paid abt RM 78 which I think it's quite exp. Haven't tried something like this before and I guess it's quite worth going for the 1st time. The Thai masseurs just inserted force all the way on us. Normally when I go for massage, they will apply oil on my body. But for this, it's purely using their bare hands and we can even be in their pajamas. The whole session consist of pain and more pain, I thought it's just me experiencing this so I didn't ask the masseur to use lesser strength. My friends felt the same too. Maybe our bodies are just too tired. When the masseurs used the stretching techniques like e pics shown above, pain was all i can experience followed by some cracking sounds. Overall, did feel abit relieved and relaxed but we were still thinking if we would want to go for a 2nd time.

After massage, we were all so hungry. Searching for food. Cyn was thinking of having Penang Laksa but I dun think I like e spicy-sour taste. So we thought of going to Kim Gary since Judy wanted to have Chinese food. Ordered Chicken Chop this round bearing in mind that I shdn't order their spaghetti which didn't taste nice the last time I had it at Kim Gary @ Vivocity.

Tadah! our spread of food. Cyn ordered the all-time-favourite, chicken mushroom rice. Judy had instant noodle soup that taste exactly like instant noodles *duhs* hahaa.. the borsch soup's portion is rather small as it's served in a cup just that it didn't come with a saucer. The dessert that comes with my set meal wasn't that appealing bcos we didn't like almond.

Went for more shopping. Wanted to buy disc but now it's very dangerous so we gave that a missed. Ju gotten herself a mismatch set of pajamas. Cos she likes a top and gotten another pants separately. like e felix cat at the bottom of her purple pants. it's sweet! haahaa.. kinda influenced by them to wear pajamas at home too. i'm more into princessy stuffs so yeah... get me smth! =P

Gd times is always so fast. we went to macs for a bite and very soon, it's 8.45pm! hahaa.. to avoid the jam and all, we cleared the custom by 9pm. took the yellow coach bus, Causeway Link (CW 2) all the way to Queens Street (Bugis), only at RM 2.50! If we want to go to JB next time, we can also go there from Bugis at SGD 2.40. Better than travelling all the way to Kranji just to take e bus.

P/S Msg gotten today is to put a full stop to it. I have to remember this by heart. Thanks God for speaking to me thru my gd friends. Constantly reminding me of what I shd do.

Whole wk of all work and no play during working days bcos of manpower down. finally weekend is here. im so looking fwd to this day. was intending to slp early today but nope, like what WS they all say, why waste a Friday night away by slping. i also dun feel like going out after going home late everyday due to OT.

Think it's a blessing in disguise! Thurs' aerobics class was postponed to next wk cos instructor couldn't attend e class. And thank God, I didn't leave on e dot cos even then, I had to work until 8 plus 9, what's more if I leave early, my teammates would have to stay back much later. Talking abt this, I'm starting to feel sian after my 1st aerobics class and I thot it would so much of a relieve for not going. In short, I feel like quitting already.. oh no! this is bad!

Today, we all just decided to leave at 8pm after clearing e necessary, leaving everything else to next Mon. but still, I'm sad that i can't go to the Peranakan Museum for bloggers who have registered for the event, which is from 6.30 to 8.30pm. can only look at Jas' photos uploaded in fb and blog.. hmm.. it's such a nice experience i believe, and being so sua-ku, i dun even know that this museum exist in the 1st place.

When I need to do something, I'll have to get it done. Recently, find that my iPhone's screen is getting so irritating with all e fingerprints that has to be consistently wiped away that I know it's high time to get a screen protector for it. gotten a matt one who i dun really like it at 1st sight but bcos of practicality, i still get it. no more fingerprint is one, anti-glazing is another. having e screen protector won't cause any difference as e touchpad is still very sensitive. a few pple commented that i shd get a casing long ago. i didn't bother initially bcos since day 1, e Apple logo on e back of e phone already has scratches. but now, i feel like getting e cover so that even if I accidentally drop e phone, i won't get so heartache. i think i only dropped once at home from my bed. luckily e impact wasn't big. initially i wanted to get e flip down casing but find it difficult to open and e colours dun look appealing too. finally decide to get a hot pink rubbery cover for my nude phone. simple and nice!

Chatted on msn with a fren, realised that my patience level is no longer there. i have to ask e same qn for so many times just to get a simple ans. of cos i won't feel really pissed off bcos I dun have much expectation for this person. if not, I will jump for sure.

Super sian cos of my contacts lenses giving me problem. Too dry suddenly and one side dropped off. Thought of buying it at Spectacles Hut and so I went right away. Was given many choices but all seems expensive. I took a bi-weekly one since that's e only one with my high power of 800 degrees each, it's very cheap for 3 pairs at $28+ but I dunno why e left side is still so dry and hurting and blur even! i find that e contact lens dun really stay long on my eyes. Dripped a few drops of eye drops but it doesn't help much. That's why when I go for e aerobics class, I couldn't concentrate with e irritating feeling that my contact lenses caused.

Came out from ofc at 6.30pm to meet Jean at the bus stop, missed e stupid bus and class will start at 7pm. Was thinking that since it's already 6.50pm, we might as well take a cab so that we can get to the community centre quickly. Who knows e bus came but no cabs were in sight. All turning into the taxi stand and we waited in vain for a cab to come after 5mins or so. At 1st there's a cab but he dun want to send us there after hearing e location. Then another one pop by. We were so glad but then, e starting charge was freaking expensive - $5 with peak hour surcharge somemore. Reached destination which is only like 3 to 4 bus stops away at $10.40 but e cab driver charged us $10. Stupid thing was that we were still late for 10 mins, if we took e bus earlier on, think we will also reach ard e same timing. Really a bad hair day!

Got changed and entered e class at 7.15pm and e instructor was still giving e briefing like some orientation. Getting to know our names and whether do we do exercise often or have any aerobics experience. So in short, the class hasn't commence. Make us rush like mad. Then from e way she talks, I find that she's rather strict or should i say professional? There are students only joining the class on the day itself and she made them register downstairs right away and said it won't be fair for e rest who has registered earlier on. She has 12 yrs of experience working in this line and not only teaching in community ctrs but other places as well.

She says that many pple thinks that aerobics is easy with e steps but it's different when u are doing it. Some gave up after one to two lessons. She told us that we must always bend our knees a little so that we won't injure our knees or ligament during e exercise. She says she will only be teaching us the basic steps for the 1st lesson and we need to breathe and not hold our breath throughout the class and we can take small sips of water during break and not gurgle down e whole bottle of water. She will teach according to the class' pace - depending on how fast we can coordinate. she told us it's ok not to buy a pair of aerobics shoes if we only have aerobics once a wk unless we have other aerobics classes. I think she also advised us not to get running shoes bcos it's hard for us to balance on it. then wad to buy? sports shoes? i dun rem!! *oh no*

She started us off with the warm up exercise b4 turning on e music with the basic steps. marching to the front, clap, marching backwards, clap, marching sideaways, basic walk - out out in in, double single to the sides, kicking backwards, cha cha to the left and right.. i think i got really confused at times and it's so fast! i think i'm like moving all over e place but e rest seems to be quite pro, esp. those standing in front. they did exactly like how e instructor demonstrated and i just have to look at them. dun forget, it's only e basic without fanciful actions, what if it's combined with e rest, i think i might just give up like what e instructor says. *tough*

i'm supposed to attend smth that is not so stressful so i think i can forget abt joining dance classes where i need to rem the steps. hahaha. that's abt all.. next wk i have to leave ofc on e dot so as to avoid being late.

Above is the "love contract" that we are working hard on this whole afternoon. Asked Janise to help me with writing e chinese characters, 爱的宣言. She loves writing chinese wordings so it's just nice. She just used the thick black marker to write on the paper and the strokes looks similar to calligraphy writing which she has learnt b4 back in sch days. We all love it, glad to have asked her for help :D

We bought e L size men's undies from Watson. Haha! dunno if it's big enough cos it looks SMALL and there's no XL size. we are still pending for e no. of brothers involved. 5 or 6? *qn marks* for e song, i've printed e lyrics and e sisters will be touching up on that. as for e love contract, Xueli wrote it out and we all think that her handwriting is gd as compared to ours. hers handwriting is cute, those with "口" will be either in heart shape or O. I like how e contract is drafted and also e cute wordings like "张老公" and "蔡老婆". we have purposely left the 5th love promise blank for my cousin to fill that in on the spot. whooo shall see what he writes on e wedding day. As for the other materials, e sisters will also be taking care of them. They have done a great job in e pre-wedding preparation! cheerios!

Left Kovan's MacDonalds for home after finalising the layout of the love contract. dunno why it doesn't look right.. too plain or what, cannot be explained. eventually changed from horizontal to vertical which looks so much better. we cut out the heads of my biao ge & biao sao's wedding pic and will turn them into something creative with sticker tee-shirts. hopefully we won't get scolded for cutting out e pics. =P

Will i be able to meet up with u after next Wed after u are back fr ur overseas trip? Is this e happiness that I've been waiting for?

Facial + 2 yoga (Hot series + Gentle)

facial experience was overall nice except for e extraction which was horrendous! i nearly teared as e needle went in and pressed into my face. in such cases, i have to resist e pain and cannot cry, cannot shout or scream or stop e person from doing e same action. just have to tolerate, it's a torture. but it's also a gd time to have facial to clear up e congestion and it's gonna get better and better, so yeah.. i won't complain.

after that, went for our quick lunch and had McChicken each and headed to Far East Plaza to try on more dresses. this time, i'm in tees, shorts and slippers, so much easier to try on them... dun even have to remove my shorts at times! haha... finally decided on e $19.90 dress which we saw yest. uber coolness~ gotten e person to steam iron the dress in e packing cos it looks very crumpled but after ironing, it's so much better. LOVE my purchase absolutely =)

walked over to pacific plaza at 5.30pm to get ready for our 6pm hot yoga. this round e time was 30 over degrees celsius, so much better than yest's one. this focus more on stretching combining with breathing technique which is less tiring but there's also alot of postures that i dun think i'm very flexible in. 1 hr session was just nice. not too long, not too short. was in time to attend e next class, called Gentle yoga. it's 50% breathing and 50% stretching. quite relaxing but it's smth gd for working adults like us. the instructor taught us a gd exercise for those who face computer all e time. i think it really helps to loosen e stiffness in e neck muscles.

hmm.. this round, only bought a banana muffin at Four Leaves and ate on e spot b4 heading home for dinner (it's really nice, dunno izzit bcos i'm v hungry!). seems like i really have plenty of things to do. appraisal is coming up, so yeah.. have to find time to fill up e form~ for Jee, she has her exams to study for and it's happening on e next day somemore. only Jean is e most relaxed one for now? haha!

Meet up with e JT & e sisters + Bikram hot yoga

Been ages since I last saw JT. Think it's from poly till now. It is 3 freaking yrs, look at how time flies! the way he talks, e rhythm and pace just makes me wanna LOL at times. when i walked, i suddenly bumped into him when we walked towards each other's direction and he made a comment, "this always happen, your pattern is still the same... haha, some things never change." yeah, indeed!

We were meeting up for my cousin's pre-wedding discussion. It's the 1st trial rehearsal for e emcees as well as meeting up with the sisters to discuss further on the door games. I only liaise with Suri on msn and only added her to FB just a day b4 e meet up. I've not seen them before and have absolutely no idea how they look like. We were standing them waiting for them and i was just looking ard for any grp of 3s. so difficult to spot them when everyone seems to look like them - young, sporty, around my age... blah blah.. haha.. how to tell? When we were talking and not aware of e surrounding, the 3 of them appeared out of nowhere and stood in front of us waving frantically. Guess adding Suri in my fb doesn't help much bcos she looks rather different from the pics she has in there. =P

We met up at Hougang Mall and they being the "di tou snake" knows e place much better than us. They led the way to Subway since McDonalds and KFC were fully packed. We were like meeting up for some project discussion. hmm.. e gals are really friendly. we dun really need much time to warm up. started with the emcees rehearsals after all of us gotten our drinks. it's good to meet and discuss bcos from e script, after numerous of editing, it may seem perfect but it's not that case. they practised and found that there were still editing to be done. when i saw Suri's script with hanyu pinyin on top of the chinese wordings, i was curious if it's for easy reading purpose.. then only did i found out that she studied Malay back in sch and cannot recognise Chinese words at all. One wouldn't be able to tell bcos her pronunciation is really amazingly great. really look up to her!

As for the door games, Liping, Xueli and I started through our rough plans as the emcees started practising away. haha.. i think the sisters are really gd. they improvised on my initial ideas and came up with more. there's a really lame game involve which I hope e brothers will be ON enough to play, followed by sandwiches for the brothers to eat (guess what's going to be in it), a song that we are gg to make my cousin sing (only slight modification to the name), then we're gg to prepare some very 'nice' drinks for them. last but not least, the love contract that we are coming up with. Xueli was suggesting that we can punch holes so that they can hang the contract. we had a gd laugh when I told them that I think they are up to smth like making e groom wear it around his neck.. but she's actually saying that e couple can hang it in their room next time. They were asking if i really 'hate' my cousin so much. Haha! my cousin and biao sao came later to join us to further discuss b4 we finally left them at 3 plus. JT accompanied me to have late lunch at abt 4pm which was a mistake. *found out more later.

*nice nice* everything shd be set according to how I want things to be. e only thing is that I might look very tired on e wedding day itself cos i'm gg to wake up at 5am so that I can reach my biao sao's hse at 5.30am to have hers and my make up done at her hse. haha.. Nelson, e photographer and also e other videographer cannot be spared as well.

Went to Bikram Hot Yoga session with Jee and Jean! Compared to the 1st time i went for hot yoga, this one is alot more tiring. i was either sitting or lying down on the mat while the class was going on. must be e coke that's acting up, feeling slightly nauseous. *e yoga started at 5pm and i was still having my Long John Silver's chicken wrap, fries and coke at 4pm. was advised not to eat 2-3 hrs before e class but i never listen. Not only I was too worn out for this session, both my frens were equally tired! There's 26 postures in all just like e previous one I went but this round, I was already sweating profusely during e 1st posture! I can feel e sweat dripping from my arm downwards and my workout gear was totally wet. 0.o very kaowei to be staying in e same clothing after e class cos e staff has to brief Jean more on e package.. aiyoz.. we paid $20 deposit that time, but now she has to pay $50 cos e staff has given us e lower rate in error. hmm.. looks like Jean will have to fully utilise e $ if she is not gg to sign up for e 1yr membership.

On e lighter note, I seem to have found my white dress that fits me well! hahahaha... i've been changing in and out of my button-up tube and jeans and even shoes just to try on 3-4 dresses if i'm not wrong. tiring!! we only have so little time and gotta have dinner as well. we had a quick one Subway. couldn't decide which one to get after trying on e 1st lacy dress that looks rather nice on me but it cost ard $49.90, which makes me feel like trying out another one, hoping it will be cheaper and looks better on me. found another shop that sells nice tube dress with a flower ribbon in front, in e same shop lies another white satin dress $19.90 which cannot be tried on. cannot take e risk.. so have to give it a miss. went to the last shop of e day and tadah! we saw e same satin dress that cost $29.90 here and it can be tried on! WOWWWW! happy! tried on and it's not too bad! only thing is that i shd have worn a push-up bra instead. hmm.. no hurry to get it since i'm coming for another yoga session e next day and we can come to Far East Plaza again. =))

it's a tiring, busy & fun day! was so tired but still took bus 124 with the gals and who knows it jammed all e way from lucky plaza till dhoby ghaut.. wtf~ i was tired but can't fall aslp on e bus and e guy in e last row sitting in e middle cannot be 'automatic' to shift inside, so that i can sit with my frens. toopidddd lahs~ anyway, finally reached Chinatown and i alighted when e door opened 50m before e bus stop. i had to walk over to e bus stop... and while sitting down, I saw e bus driver standing up and was quarreling with a commuter. Jee they all were inside e bus looking very curious to see what's going on. i was equally curious too so much so that i rang Jee up to find out more. lol.. anyway, was too tired to wait for e bus and decided to hop on an available cab. i have little cash on hand and who knows e nets machine was spoilt! just my luck... haha.. e driver suggested to send me to e nearest atm at some petrol stn near my hse but i tot it would be better to ask my mom to come down with e $ instead. i have 10 bucks with me and it was just enough for my cab fare. my mom didn't even spot my cab coming in and was still standing at e block downstairs to wait for me. after getting down e cab, i walked to her quickly and said, heng... it's only $8.40! who knows there's a voice behind me who repeated e words "$8.40", scared e hell of me lor!! it's my biao sao and my cousin was behind me too. they intended to pass to me their wedding photos by going to my hse. wad a coincidence! =)

Clean & Green Event

When pple says that Singaporeans are very KIASU, how much do u agree with that? i dun think i've seen many real-life examples. maybe at most I can recall is when we take train, there'll be pple squeezing and pushing in all e way from behind. how abt e long hello kitty queue when pple know that it's limited edition and it's affordable? perhaps the other examples are not significant enough for me to rem.

Today, i've seen it for myself and there's no other word more suitable than this! There's a lucky draw towards the end of e event. Before giving out the lucky draw prizes, some games were played where volunteers were called upon e stage and they could walk away with great prizes. That one still not so bad. It's only when it's quizzes time! True/False qns, u will get some Philip vouchers (can't rem e figure) and u are supposed to raise up your hand if u know e ans and wait to be called by the host. WHO knows... e host haven't even complete e qn, already there's 4 to 5 pple running to the front of the stage and attempting to climb up e steps. There's an auntie who was more powered, she even tripped herself and fell on e stage. The host said in a humorous manner which goes smth like "cos u fell down just now, we will let u be e 1st to ans e qn". she didn't get e right ans but the audience helped her and she got it.

While giving out the 1st to 4th prizes to the lucky draw winners, something funny happened too. The lucky draw is for pple who recycle cans or pet bottles using the recycling machine. Each item can earn u a lucky draw chance. So I believe some pple have really LOTS to donate and they have collected a big stack of receipt. The no. on e receipt is very long, eg. 00103123. When e 3rd winner's no. was called out, e person took e big stack on receipt and went up e stage and still searching.. so meaning what? haven't cfm, already go up. nvm.. go up cannot see cos no. too small... called out to her frens and guess what.. u finally found e receipt and the no. was incorrect! Faints. i mean to me it's like, if it's not u, dun go up to e stage until u confirm. Some cute old folks even brought along their magnifying glasses to take a gd look at e no. haha.

Okay.. then they continued e puzzle games on stage after e lucky draw, cos there's still prizes to be given away. while e games were still going on, e host was saying we could get some jollybean/food vouchers at the table behind when we leave later. no hurry cos there's plenty of them enuff for everyone. WHO knows I heard pple heavy footsteps and when i turned behind, I could see a bunch of pple practically running for e vouchers! omg. *absolutely no comments*

Back to e event, I was quite looking fwd to it cos it's at Hort Park! Been there for e 2nd time only~ hmm..

Cyn and Jas they all bought alot of bottles and cans to recycle. I only brought a few to recycle. There's a 3 recycling machines for pple to throw in one by one in exchange for e lucky draw receipts as mentioned much earlier on. For every 3 drink cartons at e Tetra Pak booth, a notebook made from recycled paper will be given. Very nice one.

CAN! Green event was also going on - e main purpose why we were there. Jas, WX and I has been attending a few of their events already, so how can we miss this out. but then again, i am no longer so enthu, even for e 2nd event, i didn't collect their badges by participating much in their games, etc, and this time round, it's e same thing. haha.. but i'm glad that i did participate in their activities and planted a spice plant for me to take home!! will be watering it daily. there's also many other games stations available in exchange for notepads, files, pens, cardholder, etc. guess children would be most happy to be there.

Cyn was telling me that we can prepare some sandwiches for picnic during e event. Credits all goes to her - she prepared really nice seafood and tuna sandwiches, crabsticks and celery packed in another separate box. Very yummy!! I've contributed e drinks instead. haha... Jas also brought some drinks but we already finished them earlier on cos e weather was too hot.

Overall, enjoyed e day. Very relaxed after a 5 days week at work!

perhaps it's time to really think of what i need.

body combat, hot yoga, etc... are they really wants or needs?

all in all, I can see that Jee is really keen to take up e package,

to meet her goal in terms of promoting one's health.

We were given a 2 wks pass to try out 3 trial classes

and we're gg to do it this coming Sat & Sun.

Since we can bring along our friends to come,

Next, we took a bus from town to Suntec City.

MA was telling me abt the Carrefour fair,

got toys, cds and sports wear sales.

$9.90 for e yoga pants. but i couldn't find it!

i only saw those 2 for $10 pants/shorts for yoga as well

and not to my likings.

so i tot of gg inside Carrefour to take a look instead.

and tadah! i found another ultimate yoga foldover pants,

which I've tried on, it's so comfy and pretty!

i love e colour combination, it's purple at the foldover

and black for e pants itself and I dun even look skinny it in!

Best of all, it's only $7.90! gd deal!

that's all my purchase for e day but dunno why,

i felt so elated over it.

whoo~ next up! we walked over to Raffles City

and located The Soup Spoon!

Hahaha.. had 2 vouchers for a bowl of regular soup each,

that Keith and I gotten from e pink ribbon goodie bag.

normally when we utilize vouchers,

we will need to top it up with something,

but this round, it's absolutely free of charge!

u can choose from ALL the soup they have

and for those we goes there, u will know that

e regular bowl of soup's portion is relatively big

with lots of generous ingredients to go with.

We asked the staff to recommend us e soups,

and decided to get ourselves a bowl of Tokyo Chicken Stew &

Simon and Garfunkel Chicken and Mushroom Ragout respectively.

on top of that, we still need to have dinner,

so we shared a plate of roast duck wrap for $8.90.

that's all we paid for our dinner this evening. so cool!

I hope I'll never deal with such person anymore but e reality is that it's inevitable. If e person happens to be ur MIL, ur boss or ur potential client, ur life will be tougher. If e person is just a walk-in customer, an acquaintance or someone whom u dun always have to work with, u can count that day itself unlucky. For this case, whatever this fella says is not substantial, all I can say is that I dun really have to bother much. a side note is that, i've done smth that i nvr tot i would do.

Woke up early this morning at 7.15am. Kinda crazy bcos i've been slping late recently. no choice but to go to bank early to verify my thumbprint for 2 giro forms for e internet/hp bill and insurance as well. one stone kills 2 birds. great! once e door was opened at 8.30am, everybody just swarm into the bank and i still thought they were just queuing outside for e atm machine. i was among the last to go in and thank God i dun have to go to the normal queue but a separate one at the counter outside and i got it done in less than 5 mins and even reached office early. very rare!

Lunch presentation by Accor Hotels and namecards were exchanged. Halfway thru e presentation, e presenter from Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel was saying that for those pple who has her initial written behind her namecard would win themselves dining vouchers at Jia Wei Chinese Restaurant, famous for its Cantonese Cuisine. Whoo~ I was one of the winners and will be getting hold of e vouchers from them soon. Thinking of bringing mummy to go. =)

Was talking to Sis and Kor. Dunno how well I was being e listener and advisor but I think both of them really needs to spend more quality time with each other and to sit down to talk thru every single issue in their life. being a married couple, there is so much more to think abt. now it's not just u and me but with a kid, it's another commitment altogether. U need to handle everything in a matured way and be responsible for all u do. the stress level is so much higher. smth that we might not be able to understand until we reach that stage in life. i still wish them best in all that they do. pls persevere! life isn't a bed of roses and i believe that with each other's support, it would be easier to go thru e problems together and coming out of them stronger.

Saw this last Fri but too lazy to upload. Vivo was having a Xbox games fair. So many pple were crowding around. I was most interested in "The Beatles Rock Band" game. Imagine playing the guitar, drum and bass set and singing along like a vocalist at home. It's so fun! I can see e children enjoying themselves. Dun even have to go arcade to play when u can enjoy this kinda entertainment at home.

Met up with my insurance advisor just now, who looks quite motherly in her 50s I think. She provided me with many informative details that I ought to know for my own policy as well as plans that I might be keen to take up. We met up at TBP and she treated me BK for dinner. Started off with casual chats. Felt comfortable and no-stress talking to her. She shared with me her recent hkg trip and I talked abt my family, work, etc. Nothing to in-depth but pretty sufficient for her to advise me some gd policies to take up given my current budget and needs. At e end of the day, I felt gd bcos I learnt more abt my current policy instead of not knowing what I'll be paying for since it's going to be trsf to be my acct shortly. I also felt like I've just attended a FOC insurance lesson. Know more abt e coverage of e life, medical and savings insurance. It's always gd to know more. In the meantime, I will need to find out what are my current policies with other insurance co. before buying more.

Sis shared smth interesting with me this noon. She said Hui Ting replied her "cleee-ver" when she praised her saying, u are such a clever gal. She has e capability to reply her and she's only like 2 mths old?! And this is not the only words she heard her say b4... she told me she also replied "okay" once. I can't rem what's e other one. But I know that she haven't say mama before. I bet Sis is waiting anxiously for that day to come!

Still thinking of e door games to block my cousin. Wondering if it's easier to talk it out when I meet up with e sisters. I dunno whether to play really stupid games like making e brothers kiss each other for 1 min or wear some bras outside or wearing some bananas over e their pants and getting e brothers to eat them. can be silly but it all depends whether are e sisters and brothers ON to play all these. Otherwise, we will stick to e slightly safer games like getting e guys to pass on seaweeds using mouth only, writing out love poem on the spot, etc. We only half an hour to play. in any case, im gonna make my cousin sing even if it's just chorus only. Was thinking of printing e lyrics of Boy Zone's "No Matter What" for him to sing aloud that day. they have hired a videographer and e morning "door clashing" games will be played during e wedding dinner, we have to make it fun. otherwise, we would have kept it simple. lolz!

A miracle happened to the baby sling that was intended to be sold off in eBay. Was rather surprised that the staff at Kiddy Palace at Lot 1 would accept the used baby sling to be exchanged for another one. Sis bought it at another outlet in Jurong Pt and didn't even bring her receipt along. The staff was aware that the baby sling was used and washed before and it was bought just last week. The staff is really flexible! She just need Sis to provide her I/C no. at the counter and she could even exchange it for another baby sling at a lower price. There was a difference of $16 and she topped it up to get a $20 kiddy palace voucher. Wow! Isn't it wonderful?

Had a gd time with Edwina and Sis. Sis wanted to have a haircut cos of e hot and humid weather. She can't stand it, even tying up in a small pony tail doesn't help. And guess wad?! now she's having a bob hairstyle that looks so much like our dear Edwina. lolz. twin sisters or smth and i must say that the hairstyle SUITS her! i'm also sick of my not-long-not-short-fringe and i'm having bangs and have e back trimmed as well so that it'll be neater.

Cousin was kinda desperate when he found out that he couldn't surf net anymore after auto-updating his IE version to IE8. He smsed me for help but I'm no better in IT. Hence, I tried getting help from my frens online while I was outside and guess Tian Sheng gave me e best ans -uninstall IE8 and get it reinstall again and the previous setting will be restored. That's how it works for Windows XP according to him but he's not sure for Windows Vista.

Awhile ago, my cousin came to my hse with his lappie and we tried uninstalling it. Window Vista is really complicated - IE8 is not considered a program, hence u need to remove it by uninstall it's UPDATE (not program). Under control panel, there's no such thing called "add or remove" program, and u gotta go and find smth else called "programs and features". We were so glad that after uninstalling IE8 and restarting the lappie, it was back to IE7 without even reinstalling anything. It's solved. My cousin kept thanking me but I think I didn't help much, it's more of my friend's and online advices that help.

Thot that it would be a gd chance to use his lappie to test if e passion card website would have e same prob like safari browser when signing up e passion card as mentioned in previous entry. I was testing it on my pc but it failed on me. Using my cousin's lappie, it WORKS perfectly well. Yes! So glad that I've successfully signed up for e passion card & e aerobics class (every Thurs evening starting from 5 Nov till 21 Jan next yr), paying $52 in total. Thank God that I dun have to purposely make a trip down to Radin Mas cc this coming Sat! Yeah, another thing down.

Biao Sao also came over my hse just now to pass us the wedding invitation card. Had so much laughters talking to them. They have so much more to plan for their wedding. Cousin is looking into the lunch buffet catering options online. Wedding scripts more or less settled, just that e emcees will need to dry run e script one of these days. They just managed to confirm the seating plan today. My cousin is telling me that he will have 3-4 brothers. Sisters wise, my biao sao is looking for a gd time for me to meet up with them. It shd be somewhere in 2nd wk of Nov. By then, I hope I can get ready the song to make my cousin sing out loud to my biao sao and also decide on games so that we can start getting the materials. wooo~ many things to do.

Yest night, in e middle of my slp, can't move at all. Suddenly felt like being tied up at my chest area and i tried to scream but no voice came out. Inside my heart, all I could do is to repeat AMEN lots of time. Pple say it's to do with e nerves but it's more like being attacked by ghost or smth! Dunno if i'm too tired or what. I experienced this twice in 5 mins. I was really scared that i have to slp next to my mom and hold her hand. I slept at 1am yest nite and managed to slp until 11am plus this morning. Not too bad.

Didn't attend GenRev today but went for ear candling in e noon instead. e detox massage that comes with it makes me feel so relaxed after that. this round they are using e candles that are worth $88. compared to the 1st trial that is worth $38, it's much more effective in terms of clearing up the ear wax. money well spent. e gd news is that they are opening a new outlet in Bugis and they say I can go there next mth, yay! =)

Met Cyn @ 3pm at ECP for our cycling session. e timing and weather is superbly gd! God is gd. i just have to declare that. i wouldn't trade e gd day spent with nua-ing at home. this whole week was a dread and finally i can spent a day with my gd fren. Cyn brought me to the shore near Safra Resort National Service and we started picking really small seashells. We collected some and put them into e mineral water bottle with only 1/6 filled. Love e pearl-like seashells that we picked. The spectrum colours that reflects when e sun shone on them. So pretty! 2 hrs of cycling is indeed a gd exercise. When it comes to the up-slope, i could tell that we both are super lack in exercising bcos of our poor stamina. Thighs just aches using too much force and panting while talking at e same time. most prolly we are gg to have another cycling session soon. ice-skating/roller-blading to come one day. haha.. roller-blading is not my forte definitely. o.O

"You're worth so much more than this." This is 2nd time that I'm given this message from my dear fren. Sometimes we are just too obsessed with getting to know e ans. I wish I can just kill e cat in me. If we have so many doubts when it comes to a person, a guy, a bf, e security is no longer there. Since that's e case, why do we still want to ask e person anything when we can't even trust e person in e 1st place? Like how Ed told me abt her case, I can understand exactly where she's coming from. Even e most independent and logical person can be blinded by love or let emotions overrule their logical thoughts. In her, I see myself like a mirror and I can tell her straightaway what she shd do just like a counsellor, so why can't I apply this to myself? I know I can do it for sure!

I find that it's a joy to be with pple whom I can relate to. It's always such a peace to be hanging out with the right person at the right time. It's God's work which I believe so. U just can't get enough of the goodness that's being given.

Would like to mention that it's also a joy to be remembered by frens. Eg. few days ago, Steph specially smsed me to tell me that she has put in my name under her wedding dinner's seating plan listing and thought i might nt be able to attend it due to crashing with my holiday trip next yr. i assured her that it's not the case and would gladly love to attend. it's a sweet feeling to have gd frens who really treats u as a true fren even thou u guys seldom meet up or really contact much. <3

Had gd food today too! Hokkaido Corn Ramen @ Ajisen and shared e side dishes, California Maki and Crab Croquette, with Cyn. Later on, we went to Dome to have drinks (latte for her and mango smoothie for myself) and shared e blueberry brownie cheesecake. Very NICE!! not sinful hahaha. The ambience of e cafe or rather e setting makes us feel like we were in some western ctry. so cool! And I love e new pair of white sandals that I've gotten for my cousin's wedding. U.P is $59.90 and i'm only getting it for $19.90. Love e blings that comes with it but e heel is a little high given that i have to run about in e day time but heck. so long as it's pretty, everything is worth it. thinking of doing DIY pedicure since it's open-toe. personally feel that it wouldn't look nice without any nail polish to go with. haha.. super vain as usual.

passion card still can't sign up. ah mei concert tix still on hold. still no news on ebay for e baby sling item that i'm selling. giro application for my singtel/singnet bills are not done. dental appt is not fixed. Soup spoon vouchers are not utilised (last day is on 31st Oct). hoping all these can be done by next wk.

contacted my insurance agent on an impulsive mood. it's like i dunno who on earth is my advisor and i just called e insurance co's hotline to enquire on it. after which just wanna call my advisor to change to my bank acct to deduct the ins premium. who knows she's gonna meet up with me to review on my policy. it's gonna happen next wk. i pray hard it won't be too complicate and i dun end up signing more policies with her man. i just want to know where my money lies and not dumping $ everywhere.

wanna sign up for e passion card but stupid thing is that i can't do it online. there's required field that is grey off even when i attempt to type in the box but there's nth at all. tried Safari, Firefox, Camino and D also tried IE for me on mac, all failed! only 1 conclusion, e webbie has a prob OR only windows is able to read the form. urghhhh.. just wanna do it and it's stuck again.

wanna sign up for e aerobics class with Jean but it can only be done after i get e passion card registered since there's gonna be disc straightaway off e bill. so i'm stuck AGAIN~

just gotten e script from my biao sao and my dear fren is vetting thru it. looks like there's gonna be some amendments made to e script cos e English version is more of directly translating from the Chinese version, which doesn't sound too smooth. lol.. hope my fren can liaise with my biao sao via email directly and get it iron out.

How can i not trust God for bringing me such a great gift.

After knowing that my Biao Sao is looking for a male Emcee for their wedding this afternoon, i checked with Keith, e new guy in my team, D, WX, etc but all came back saying they were not up for it or have no one to recommend. Suddenly i rem JT whom i've not kept in touch for yrs. he was in my msn all along. His response was like a miracle that happened! He said he dun mind helping out and he just need to find a suit. i was so excited that i told my mom abt it and e next moment, i nearly fell off e chair. Informed my Biao Sao subsequently and she just called me back awhile ago to update me more abt e door games and changes to the schedule for e day. date is drawing nearer. we are all so excited yet there's alot of things undone. i haven't even meet up with the sisters~ lols.

Hahahaa... I've just set up my Ebay acct yest and started to post e baby sling photos online today. i hope i can find a buyer and start trading soon. Feeling super stupid. was sitting on it for so long... like setting up this acct which i could have done it for yrs. BUT it's not too late after all. just gotta start somewhere, yeah =)

Haven't register for my yoga class... Jean tot they are taking in too many pple like 30 for a class but i tot it's good to keep my sundays occupied; instead of going on a weekday at 8pm. it will be very rush for me esp. during this crazy peak period and b4 yoga session, u are not supposed to keep ur stomach full. Shall see how it goes! Crossing my fingers for some gd news even though i wasn't exactly sure if i shd get a yoga mat or not. Do i prefer dance or yoga?? Anything that keeps the body healthy will be a gd activity i guess. Next time when i'm old, i'll consider going for qi gong as well =P

Smth ridiculous happened over. i was utterly shocked when Ed told me abt it. Looks like we weren't happy with someone's act but there's nth i really wanna comment abt. just tot it would be gd if my fren were to see it for herself and glad that she did. well well, alot of things are better left unsaid. i'm glad i didn't.

Still fighting hard with e sleepy spells that comes after lunch or sometimes ard 3-4pm, which I understand why some pple need to take coffee to perk up their day. Some pple like me, cannot take coffee will feel nauseous thereafter. That applies for high class starbucks coffee as well, no cure man. So I would rather have smth to munch on or to take 5, just kidding... not smoking but just tabbing my face with water. Haizz.. how can I ever have a gd rest when it's all abt work. Even if i wanna hang out after work for other stuffs, e next day, i would go crazy with e lack of slp.

This coming Sunday, still deciding whether to go to church/meet up with my cousin & biao sao/meeting Sis to get a new baby sling. As for coming Sat, if it's gd weather (pray hard), i may go on with my ear candling and cycling plan. Tot of borrowing a gd book on London or getting some travel guide magazines at Borders one day. so much to explore.

Lis needs a gd break and be exposed to the nature. Will i be able to find a guy who can appreciate life with me, indulging in all e gd things that life has to offer? i wish that my Mr Right will appear in my life one day soon. Dreamy~~

went to Sis place alone. at 1st was thinking of gg with Jas^gal, Jean or Edwina but ended up, they were all not available. not very sure of how to go to Sis' place again so have to be v alert when it comes to taking e bus and which stop to alight. while queuing up at e bus 335 lane which was not clearly divided, an auntie asked me if she's queuing at the e right lane cos she said it's her 1st time taking e bus. Suddenly a thought hit me at that instant: Fear not, for u are always not alone =)

still in e lack of slp mode. hehe. seeing baby princess makes everything worth it. she's still small in size but weight has increased alot definitely. when Sis played and sang songs to her, she's smiling. e kinda smile is priceless ^^

Hope Sis can continue to cope with her current life. In life, there's always ups and downs. I do believe that Sis will able to brave thru everything. Rem that Jesus loves u yeah~

Sec sch's outing is considered a gd one. There were pple whom I didn't get to see for 2 yrs or so since e last chalet. We have all changed in a way or another but e ever-so-familiar feeling is there. From e dinner at Hooters to having ice cream at Macs after that, enjoyed e chit-chatting sessions much.

Over at Hooters, Edwina & Meah Meah went on talking abt their recent Europe trip that got Jean & I excited as well. whoohoo~ I was thinking it would be a gd idea if we can save up and go travelling to such western ctries some days in e near future. Who knows e more we talked abt it, e more excited we were & we were gg to plan a 2 wks trip that's coming up next yr. gonna do lots of homework so that it'll be a gd and fulfilling trip with lotsa sightseeing n shopping.

i felt like i am not gg to survive later bcos i'm only sleeping at 2.30am or even later last night! screams!!

the ktv was ok.. but i regretted looking at e phone. now i can clearly rem e wallpaper pic and some other ones. e qns revolves ard my mind. how to be assured that it's nth when e action and words dun tally. aiyooooo... tis is totally crazy. how can i not feel anything? too sensitive maybe. duhs.. it's e past, why do i still bother? suddenly i feel that nth has changed from the way he talked to me, etc. that's e most scary part huh. e heart is no longer there but e actions are so misleading. yucks.

I asked myself a qn, do i bear to delete off all e pics that we've taken together back then and e ans is still a no. looking at them brings back (fond) memories that I dun wanna remember. I better not rash to do things that I might regret one day. Deleting e pics is only one button but if I want e pics back, it would be so much harder. I only keep them in my hard disk and also some old pics in my laptop but no more in my desktop. So if my hard disk should die on me one day, it's all fated then. Having been together for so long, I dun really have much pics of us as in physical ones, but only a neocard, a newly bought one on e superstar virgo and a few more which I didn't use in doing up e scrapbook.

Treating u as a fren is easy. But did u treat me like that too? Even e last sms, did u even reply? All i asked was that did u even download an app called avatar free. U just stopped replying me after answering my other queries regarding fb in safari/firefox. Luckily i'm not e same old silly gal who will wait for ur sms. whatever bah... we just have to understand that pple come and go in ur life. Even e person u deem to love u very much will still leave u one day. We just have to learn to accept this cruel fact. i have learnt to cherish u very much in e past so much so that i love u with all my life. i will still move on with life e way all of us want me to be. one thing i can never figure out is how fast guys change. they can say how much they love a person, even e gd impression that i have gotten for u when u showed me how much u loved ur ex and how long u took to forget e old flame, the same thing didn't apply to our r/s at all. it just shows how unworthy our love was back then. i may have misunderstood it altogether but nothing matters now (this is e same cold response i've gotten from u before). dun tell me that u cherish this r/s or friendship for now, i will not buy that. anyway, dun think u will even be reading this post.

e best part is that im e one initiating this breakup (yah, u love to tell me that) and u are reciprocating it so well huh. how come i feel that it's e other way round? before i forget, i better crown u a prize for being e fastest person to get over this r/s.

Lis is super slpy today. Colleagues could tell and they tot I'm having e going-to-fall-sick look on my face. This can't happen. I'm rejecting all sickness in Jesus' name. Amen! I dun think I'l be sick anyway. We humans are gd at it right? If we are gg to fall sick, we can tell from our body's signals.

Today morning, I've gotten a 'bomb' but was resolved quickly with e help of my fellow colleagues. I must learn to handle things in a pro way like them too. There's much to learn!

Bumped into my sec sch fren who also worked in e same building as me, was asking her if she's gg for e sec sch outing this Sat but she doesn't seem keen cos only 8 person including myself RSVP in e fb event. tsk tsk. I still hope it'll be fun thou... it's like how many donkey years nvr see some of them le.. they better dun fly kite man. the pple who turn up would most likely depend on how well the organisers do their job huh. hope it's a fun meetup!

This sun will be a gd one too. I believe so! ECP cycling.. whoohoo~

Eventful sunday!

After brunch, my cousin and biao sao to come over to my hse at 1.15pm to see if my white dress is suitable to wear on their big day. at the same day, they also brought their nicely printed wedding invitation cards which was just collected that morning. they got it printed in m'sia and i heard that it's so much cheaper, costing SGD10 for a card. if they add any clipart graphic on the card, it's of no extra charges unlike many printing co. in SG. No wonder pple wanna go over there to save e huge printing cost.

Together with them, we left e hse and met up with Nelson at IMM to discuss more abt the photography plan on e wedding's actual day (AD). We had a hard time finding parking lot at e carpark. 1st 3 hrs FOC and e carpark was so full that we had to park at e highest storey where there's no shelter, freaking HOT that we were burning anytime. joke of e day was that we dun even know where Swensen was & we were e one telling Nelson to meet there. so ended up, we were almost late for 15mins, reaching at only 2.15pm! sheesh~

The discussion itself was pretty smooth. I volunteered to take down notes and done up with the event schedule. This includes e events that's going to take place on e AD, from 5.30am till dinner commence at 7.30pm or so. The more things I wrote, the more excited I was. It's really my 1st time being quite involve in a wedding preparation. It becomes like e more I know, the more I find that there's so many things I dunno! Haha.. Nelson asked me if I'm stressed, I say YESSS. I am put to be in charge of e receptions for e groom's side as well. Think if I'm not wrong, e whole day I will be sticking to the bride. haha.. oh ya, I'm also gg to be playing e door games to block my cousin. I shd be siding my cousin and now i'm gg to give him a 'hard' time! lolz~

In e midst of e discussion, my biao sao gotten a call from e bridal shop that their wedding photo CD was ready for collection.So lucky of me cos according to my cousin, they said e photos won't be so fast ready! At the same time, they were asked to choose between 2 decorated photos for e bed top portrait. They took pretty long to decide which one to get. My cousin being e "anything" guy let my biao sao make e decision. In terms of such decision-making, I always follow my heart so I gave them my 1st impression of e photo that I like. I like it the portrait one iso the landscape photo bcos it's more fantasy and dreamy with 2 bubbles frames & e blue background makes e photo stands out more. My biao sao preferred the other one bcos her gown can be seen more visibly unlike e one as the decorative frames already covered up half e gown. my biao sao eventually changed her mind and decided to take what I've chosen too. She said she also prefer e colour combination and have no choice but to sacrifice e part where e full gown cannot be seen.

wahs.. the bridal shop seems very popular! alot of customers coming in. heard that it's always full house during e wkends. my biao sao wanted to choose a tea dress - traditional red Kua but they were so busy and no one could entertain her and they gotta fix another appt with them next time. their biz too gd man! otherwise, i will get to see 1st hand which Kua she's wearing on e AD.

Rushed back to my cousin's hse (it's my 1st time going after so long!) to discuss on the seating chart of the wedding banquet. who to sit where, with who, blah blahs.. e names are more or less out, just that we need to finalise everything b4 sending out the invitation cards. it's ashamed that my cousin, biao sao and my handwriting really cannot make it. if not, we will love to write on e card! they mentioned abt how nice my dad's handwriting was. he used to write chinese calligraphy. not many young generation like us can master this skill. anyway, we decided to get the help of my cousin's parents to write on e wedding cards. my auntie is funny also! halfway thru e discussion, she suddenly took out a very old wedding invitation card and it belongs to my parent's wedding in 1977. there I saw my dad's handwriting on it. it's memorable and priceless! anyway, we just got everything settled with a little hiccup here and there b4 rushing off again.

This time, we were at Suntec, the wine fair outside Carrefour. Wow, it's interesting to note that alot of wedding couples were buying bottles of red wines too. it's so much cheaper. there's alot of brands.. but we got a very gd tip. dun buy too exp ones if ur guest dun really know how to appreciate wines, they will just drink and waste it. we tried a few. some are really strong and heavy that i dun like. I forgotten e brands of e wine. not familiar with the terms they used either. from here, i also learnt smth. it's by consignment basis. if we cannot finish the wine, nvm. they even allow us to return how many percent of e bottles depending on how many we buy. so if we buy 36 bottles for a certain brand, i think we can return 9 fully sealed bottles to them if i'm not wrong. like that, there's no wastage, gd also! eventually we bought 36 wines costing $16+ each. U.P is $25. Save so much!! If got POSB saving card, can have further 5% disc but come to think of it, can only save $30 over dollars, we might as well forget it since we can't borrow from my cousin's sister. the wine fair really came at a gd timing!! Got them to arrange to deliver e wine to the restaurant on e AD. We dun even need to buy anything back home. cool!

Then it's time for dinner! my cousin's treat at Pastamania. at 1st i wanna treat them but ended up, was convinced by them. we were all famished by then and drank too much red wine w/o anything in e stomach earlier on. hahaha. happy time passes really fast. soon it's 10pm plus and next day is a working day, so we have no time to waste but to finish up with what we have and just chop chop go back. It's nice to be gg out with them since they have transport and bcos I live so near my biao sao, no need to feel paiseh if i want them to send me back since my cousin also has to send biao sao home.

Nice day spent. Thankful for everything!

Beautiful Saturday

I believe in all the gd things that are happening to me so far is all bcos of u, Lord. I'm truly blessed even though many a times I didn't realise it right from e start. For the day that I chosen to make that decision, I know it must be u that caused this to happen. It's a lesson learnt and I'm still learning and picking myself up along the way, I know it's not an easy journey but it's u who has made me realised that I really have a lot of true frens that I can count on and are by my side even though I seems to have neglected them at times. They appeared in my life when I most needed them.

Like today, I enjoyed Cyn's company to the fullest. It's so comfortable sharing with her things that I never thought I will be sharing with her like this in such a gd atmosphere where everything just pours in. It seems like we are getting closer from the initial chat-chatting sessions to teasing each other in a jokingly manner till today's heart-to-heart talk. We shared a lot abt our lives. I find that it's really great to have someone telling u all the positive things that u need to hear.

Yest night I was quite down after watching the TW Drama, Change Change Love, which reminded me alot about him and I. Having said that I've moved on, there's still alot of things that I just can't forget. Rest assured that I won't be looking for him like how my urge came in last time. Yes, I have successfully kicked e habit. However, it's not just a habit but a relationship that we are talking abt. Now it's less than 2 mths since we were officially over. I will set a limit to 3 mths as a maximum time to heal fully. I won't let this affect my life anymore. What's past is past, what's e point of looking back at something that has gone when u can start looking fwd to better things in life?

I believe that God has sent angels into my life to walk me through this path right now. I also think that many more good things will continue to happen. In the meantime, I just wanna praise and thank God for all the blessings given to me. Amen!

Short of cash flow in a way which will help me to make firm decisions for any more hard selling that's gonna come with the usage of more complimentary vouchers.

But having said that, I still feel that I need to go for regular facials. Heard from Jean that she has signed up a package with Babelicious today at a gd deal and NO hard-selling as promised by them earlier on when we got the trial packages at their booth during e Holy Grail Party event. Somehow I have quite a gd impression of it and hope it will turn out great when my colleague goes with me too. Ma didn't get the package with us, so she will have to pay slightly higher as a newcomer at 30% off the U.P. Great that she dun mind and is willing to accompany me to go in e next 2 wks or so.

Suddenly I wish that I could have a credit card too. To me, having a credit card is gd bcos u have only gg to pay for what u got the following mth when u receive e bank stmt, so in a way u will never be short of cash during e current mth. That's why I always wanted a sub-card back then. Of cos there's always 2 sides of the coin but I'm referring to the gd one this time.

Thinking of signing up courses from SSC, Singapore Sports Council. Still looking into a perfect timing. Most likely I would want to start the course in Nov cos this mth is too packed. Haven decide between yoga and dance classes as well. It's abt $80 depending on what classes we are taking.

Today we had cup noodles using our mthly fund for the 1st time. Somehow I dun like e idea anymore. 1stly, what if i becomes a habit then how? it's not nutritious to start with and I'm very health conscious on that. 2ndly, I dun wanna end up having hair fall bcos of consuming too much MSG. With e introduction of cup noodles, it could only mean one thing: more OTs. No choice, gotta bear with it until perhaps DEC Xmas period... boohoo~

What else? Feel that there's so many things to get off my chest but I'm simply too tired to type with the whole day sitting in front of the pc at work and at home.

I still have smth that I feel like doing but can't find anyone to go with me... to go jogging outdoor again. Macritchie Reservior, I'm waiting!

I had a plate of mixed vege rice for $6.20! That's for 2 vege and 2 meat. Normally, if I order 2 vege and 1 meat, it would cost $4.20. Not really cheap but still acceptable after a 10% disc for having the Food Republic disc card. Today I went on to order the 4th item which was the very fresh prawns. Though it's very tasty and chewy, these cost me extra $2. Daylight robbery?! I already could foresee that it's gg to be expensive ordering meats like prawns/fish and furthermore we dun even have e disc card this round. But I just wanna RANT, e $ I spent is as gd as having 2 lunches during working days...

Went for my complimentary massage session which says 30 mins worth $90. Forgotten to take photo of the voucher. The masseur really focus on the areas that requires more attention, like my stiff shoulders and neck, using red wine essence throughout the massage. Everything abt the massage is gd. I even had e massage for 1 hr which is worth $180 which is smth extra for the voucher. But every "free" things in life does come with a price. This time, it's just as expected, can't escape from e hard selling part which I truly hated after having so many experiences. And e best part was that e stupid lady even gave me attitude when I refused to take up e most attractive package that she's promoting to me. I'm just giving u face and wasting my time to hear u out and u think i'm wasting ur time and breathe too right?! Just glad that I didn't sign anything bcos I'm sure it's gg to be a never-ending thingy again!

Addicted to FB games. Now I'm into the Cafe World. Slowly losing interest in those games that I used to be addicted to: Farm Ville, Farm Town and Pet Society. These games are gd for killing time...

Now I need to go to e lala land more than doing anything else. Byees

Yay! i enjoyed today's lunch so much!!! it's been ages since i last lunch with my fellow TCs. i so lurve that feeling, it's indescribable! it probably reminds me of how i used to enjoy having lunch with ~~him~~ (that's e past and i'm very clear abt that).

I like the way my life is occupied with activities right now. It's going on well like how I want it to be. In fact, I'm saving up money to take up courses if possible bcos I want a consistent activity for me to look fwd to. Be it the dance/yoga classes. If can, I wanna take up scrapbook decoration lessons when I have more spare cash. This mth's calendar is marked with activities, wooo! I like! =)))

I have been psycho-ing myself to eat and eat. It works. Even when I'm not hungry, I will still eat. Then slowly, I find myself getting more and more hungry and it's a gd sign! Plus the fact that I'm eating rice (chicken rice, nasi lemak, mixed vege rice, etc) for almost every lunch since last week. Gd gd! Not like last time, prawn noodles, fish soup with thick bee hoon, yong tau foo with bee hoon, etc. Those will only keep me full for a few hrs b4 I get hungry at 5 plus but nth to munch on when I was hungry at work. Now different, cos my colleague is preggy, she eat, I will eat. Great influence! Sometimes, we wonder who is e preggy one when I am hungrier than her. lol!

Thinking of gg for an outdoor jogging session one day to balance up with eating and exercising. Let's see... if i can find anyone to do so with me. otherwise, i shall just hit e gym once more with my colleagues.

I thought I was super duper utterly LUCKY!

If we have not worked till 8.30pm on Fri evening,

If the bkg was not picked up by Keith at 8.20pm,

If it's not bcos he's alert enough even after e invoice was done,

If he didn't help to spot that I used the wrong doc to issue fare and it's on this Sunday's departure,...

... I think I would be doom if we only find out on Monday onwards. If pax has flown already, it means that nothing to be done but to wait for e penalty to come and the amount is huge. Unimaginable!

Very serious mistake due to negligence in both parties, the TC and myself. Now, we managed to void the ticket and issued a new set with everything in order. Just need to reverse the previous invoice done.

I dunno how to thank Keith but it's really a great help from him to save me from everything that's gonna come. I was still telling them that we can go back at 8.15pm that evening cos we were all tired and shagged. But it's really lucky that we managed to pick up this booking cos b4 we left for the day, there's still 30 over bkgs left in the queue with invoices not done.

I would also want to praise God for this. In Jesus' name, Amen!
